70% of second businesses fail after an exit. Anastasia Koroleva studied post exit founders for 13 years and came on Moneywise to explain why. Her exit: -Built a bootstrap company to a "nine-digit" exit (over $100M) -Lost half her net worth through divorce and "stupid mistakes" -Now worth high eight figures -Started a second business that failed miserably Her money setup: -Spends $650K-$1M annually for family of 5 -No wealth manager (tried many, didn't like any) -Portfolio: 65% liquid assets, 25% private credit, 10% private equity -Owns homes in London and South France But after studying hundreds of post-exit founders, she found many follow the same psychological pattern. The common traps: -Starting too soon (using business to escape identity crisis) -Starting too late (skills atrophy, relationships fade) -Naive industry jumps (no competitive advantage -Misunderstanding your strengths (creator vs. operator) -Sudden Wealth Syndrome (irrational fear of losing money) Her biggest insight? "Most of us don't actually look at the big picture, and because of that, we fall into a very predictable trap." She believes it takes about 10 years to fully adjust after a big exit, and everyone struggles during this period. There's no escaping it. What she recommends: -give yourself 1-2 years to let things sllow down -Rebuild your basics (community, purpose, health), which is what your company likely gave you -Attack the next thing with clear motivation Full pod is live. Harry said it's the most important episode we've done. Agree?

I built a Three.js rendering study inspired by Tiny Glade’s painterly aesthetic, and got it running at 120fps in the browser. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been studying how stylized games achieve that soft, handcrafted look in real time. Tiny Glade was a huge inspiration, and I wanted to use the browser as a constraint: no compute shaders, no native GPU access, and single-threaded JavaScript. As part of this study, I implemented: - GPU-driven instanced brick walls with procedural noise jitter and elastic build animations - Tree, bush, and flower rendering with billboard card expansion, wind sway, and grow animations - Procedural grass with terrain conformance and interactive push deformation - Animated water with layered noise, interactive ripples, and Fresnel-based reflections - Procedural terrain with slope-aware triplanar materials, dirt paths, and rocks - A 7-pass post-processing stack with TAA, bloom, depth of field, painterly filtering, ACES tonemapping, 3D LUT color grading, and film grain The hardest part wasn’t writing any single shader. It was making all of these systems work together at high frame rates inside WebGL, where every millisecond counts and performance problems compound quickly across animation, materials, post-processing, and scene management. Some techniques in this study were inspired by analyzing Tiny Glade’s rendering approach, while others were original implementations built from scratch from visual reference. That contrast taught me a lot: recreating an effect is one challenge, but designing your own shaders and systems to achieve a similar feel is a very different one. This is a private educational rendering study. Some temporary placeholder content is being used during the research phase, and any public or production version would use original or properly licensed assets. Huge credit to Pounce Light for the incredible art direction and rendering work in Tiny Glade: Three.js #gamedev #webgl #threejs #rendering #graphics #realtimerendering #shaderdev

Eben Etzebeth's post on Instagram: Hey Everyone I've been quiet, but now that my hearing is done I think I owe everyone an explanation First of all, this is not a post to show that I was not guilty, I accept guilt. I made a mistake and I'm willing to serve a suspension which I deserve. I don't want young kids who look up to the Springboks to think that it's OK to eye gouge someone, because it's not, but unfortunately mistakes happen and I made a big one for which I'm sorry. But I'd like to answer the question - why did you do such a thing? It was a mistake caused by my reaction and other factors that played a role. Slide 1: The scuffle was basically over when Wales #7 struck me with an open hand to my chin/neck area, you can see me looking at the Assistant Referee and waiting for a reaction from him (it happened fast and it's understandable that he didn't see it) without reacting yet, I got another pull on my jersey, before I go in with the similar type of action. Slide 2: You can clearly see my first point of contact is against his shoulder with an open hand, just like he did, except he got me on the chin. Another thing worth mentioning, when he struck me, I was standing still with not a lot of movement or players trying to get involved. When I went for the same open hand towards his shoulder, you'll see 2 Welsh players changing the dynamic of the entire picture as well as one of my teammates pulling Wales #7 around his neck away from my hand and where my force is going. Slide 3: Another Camera Angle So why did I post this? To try and show people how everything happened and that it was never intentional. I would never do something like this on purpose, I know what the consequences will be after playing rugby for a few years. Thanks to everyone that stood by me and thought the best of me. I'm sorry for letting you and the game down. That was my first red card since I started playing. I want it to be my last. To the people that were angry and upset with my actions, I understand - because it didn't look good on the slow motion replay and hopefully you've got a bit more context now.

🇺🇦🇷🇺‼️🚨 What happens to foreign mercenaries when they are taken POWs by Russians? -> Foreign mercenaries get shot. They are not entitled to “Geneva convention protection”, like it or not, but it is the reality. They essentially get a “death penalty in the spot. This is corroborated by: 1) Many foreign Mercenaries are seen fighting with Ukraine, especially in Kursk region. From all kinds of nations, but mostly USA, Columbia, Poland, France, Australia, UK, New Zealand. They literally post footage themselves, it is undeniable. Example Pic 1 2) There are many videos of Ukranian POWs and the “exchange fund” of Ukranian soldiers is fairly big for Russia. Example video 2 3) Now, do only Ukrainians surrender, or are only Ukranians overrun and taken prisoner? This makes statistically no sense, the amount of fighting and soldiers needs to lead to foreigners also being taken prisoner sometimes. At least injured and then picked up, since he could not walk. -> Here we have the answer to this mystery. A Russian commanders fairly bluntly says, that foreigners “do not live long enough to become a POW” Translation of his words: We shoot foreigners and take only Ukranians prisoner. There are more interviews with other units saying similar things, just less blunt. Video 3 4) Now if we look at a case like this: “The Russian Armed Forces shot 9 soldiers in Kursk region” — DeepState "On October 10, the occupiers shot drone operators and contractors in the area of the settlement of Zeleny Put. The fighters went to their positions thinking that they were in the relative rear, but they were forced to make contact with the enemy and fired back. However, the number of ammunition was limited and they were forced to surrender." Pic 4 -> We can be sure that these was a mercenary unit. Being in “relative rear” as an ASSOCIATE”, means they are mercenaries. Associate is a synonym for mercenary. In summary, since we do not see foreigners as POWs at all, the conclusion is obvious. Like it or not, but I think that is reality. -> Don’t shoot the messenger and don’t go to Ukraine. 1/

Gardaí investigating the death of Yves Sakila are now looking for DNA samples from his family members while a man claiming to be his father has said “I will fly to Ireland to fight for justice for my son.” Social media users in Ireland are calling into question the validity of the mans claims after seeing a picture of him in the sun newspaper online and realising that he appears to look younger than his son and has no resembling features either. Post mortem results have shown that the coroner found no physical injuries to contribute to his cause of death and are now awaiting the toxicology results for answers. These results basically clear the security of any wrongdoing in regards to causing his death. However that hasn't stopped his alleged family from hiring a solicitor in Ireland (to possibly make a monetary claim against Arnott's?) or members of the Congolese/African community in Ireland from protesting outside Arnott's chanting for people to boycott the place. Facts mean nothing to these people, they thrive on victimhood and cash in on it at any given opportunity. Africans are now lecturing the Irish in our own country about how we need to be "kinder and more loving". These same Africans have walked past this man on the street and done nothing to help him for the last 24 years while he was alive and homeless and addicted to drugs. They showed no kindness or love for him then, they just left him to rot. But now they're saying that the Irish need to be kinder after we've been feeding him, clothing him and keeping him alive since he got here over 2 decades ago. Entitled ingrates.

Hello everyone, Here is a personal project that builds on what SkalskiP did with his computer vision project, I tweaked it to be able to run full games handling dead balls, free throws, camera cuts, etc. and offload all the data into a CSV where I store: - Shot locations with closest defender distance and name. - Distance Traveled Total throughout the game. - Velocity Information of players - Max and Average Speed - Time of Possession The cleanup is done post-processing where we fill in players information based on known information from our tracking with the NBA API to get key points to ignore free throws polluting the data along with filling in unknown players. Nothing is hardcoded besides team names, all roster and game information is gathered from reading the scoreboard to find the unique game and then it downloads roster information and provides a safety net for tracking from the NBA API. With being able to process a full game, one implementation I did was use Dynamic Time Warping to run two clips from separate games of similar looking SLOB's to see if it could identify plays which in the below sample has worked. Using this, a team could grab clips of teams running plays or sets and index them, points of attack, personnel, first and second options, frequency and success rate information to build out scouting reports and tendencies. The next step is to create play diagrams automatically based on the clip FastDraw-style for easy scouting insertion to coaching staff and players documents. This is part one of a greater project that will be showcased over the next few days where its incorporated into an all purpose basketball operations artificial intelligence. The clip below is the spliced together vision tracking analyzing both play segments but a full game scan is possible. Would love to hear feedback and see any questions you might have. Again, huge thanks to SkalskiP his resources were great to springboard into something compelling to myself.

🚨Jag Ghankas went on a Jew-hating attack against this elderly man in Toronto. You can see that hard-to-watch video below. This is my 3rd update on this story, as I've been investigating and learned new information. And now I've learned, I haven't been the only one digging. Leviathan learned things I thought I discovered, hours before me. Plus, another person, whom will anonymous, since I haven't yet received permission to use their name, has done a great deal of work on this. But allow me to remind you about JagPile as he calls himself on IG. So we all know what type of pile he is ... He's an October 7th denier. He boldly attacks frail, elderly Jewish men using walkers. He rams through police at pro-Hamas rallies with pride and ZERO consequences, but 100% glee — as I witnessed in his videos. He screams at police officers, stealing lyrics from a Ludacris song, "Move! Move, b*tch, get out the way!" He spews Jew-hate. He glorifies terrorism. He incites violence. And he's indoctrinating a whole new generation of innocents with hate and violence. Like the picture I shared in my previous Jag post of him with a little child masked in a keffiyeh. On his IG account, it notes he works at Studio One Tattoo Supplies at 940 Queen E in Toronto. (I don't know if this is currently accurate information.) And I'm still waiting to hear back from Mayor Olivia Chow 🇨🇦, Toronto Police Operations, Doug Ford, and Justin Trudeau. I'd love for them to explain how this man can violate Canada's Criminal Code, again and again, and continue to do so. Because I thought we all said no to this Never Again garbage. (And I have it all on tape in case any of them missed any of it.) And please, dear leaders, explain this to me as if I'm a 6-year-old. Because if 6-year-olds can understand how to learn to hate Jews and Israel, I'd like to learn how people get away with this dangerous criminal behaviour in our once safe, democratic nation of Canada. And, look, I also don't expect to ever hear from any of them. Even though there is now more than enough information to make an arrest. Our "leaders" have failed us. But we will not fail us. We have many more Jags to find. No matter if the "leaders" aren't by our side. We must remain side-by-side. Because Am Yisrael Chai. And more than anything right now, I'd love to give that brave, elderly man a hug. He took on this thug like an absolute champion.
