@narendramodi ji, alongside our work on AI, we must also have focused and indepth work on Data, including all sub-capabilities therein for the end-to-end Data lifecycle process, and also be able to commercialise our Data stack. Infact, I’d say this unequivocally and some may not see the need for it today, but we should have a dedicated Ministry for Data, and not treat it as a subset of MIB. That Ministry, being a horizontal, would intersect with the work of all other Ministries. The wars of the future will be on, and for Data as it will be the prime weapon used across all possible areas - be that strategy, governance, management, or execution of any activity across any sector. While AI will be the enabler for scale, pace, and efficiency, Data will be the decisioning factor, even for the AI/GenAI model outputs. We need to have our robust presence across both, Data and AI, in equal measures strengthened to not only have our say at the global roundtables, but to lead the charge.

@narendramodi India needs indigenous systems that can match the best in the world. In this high-stakes game, we cannot always rely solely on partners, no matter how trustworthy those partnerships are. AI is way bigger than the rock oil of the previous century.
