I appeal to politicians. Avoid personal attacks. Time for us to stop calling politicians, names. It does no good to our culture when, in various political parties, people take on senior people of other political parties and call them names. We must have an absolute sense of decorum, mutual respect — and that is the demand of our culture. We otherwise cannot have unity in our thought process. #RajyaSabha

The Hungarian EU-Presidency raised the flag of peace, opened the door to a ceasefire and peace talks, initiated dialogue with the warring parties, and put pressure on European leaders to restart diplomacy and communication. Communication is only unnecessary in wars where the parties aim to annihilate each other. But do we really believe that our soldiers will be marching under the EU flag in Moscow's Red Square? If we do not believe that, then we must keep the channels of diplomatic negotiations open. That is what we did!
