Theres a time & place for everything. Unless the entire coach was booked by these youth group, this is disturbing the other passengers. Bcoz Indians think making noise in public spaces is ok in the name of fun, when they do it abroad, they get pushback.

public space and private space are different. on a train, all kinds of people could be travelling like ill or grieving or rushing to emergency or simply using train time to make calls or finish work. pls respect common space is right to use without disturbing others.

Depends on the time, and also on the surroundings and people- being happy is not wrong - but depends on who has what problem at what time... anyhow a song or two should offend no one!

You only get this in Indian trains. For those 15-16 hrs your co passengers become ur best friends. Some u never meet again, some become lifelong friends.

Its good if you derive happiness out of such loud songs but dont forget that you are in a public place and everyone is not supposed to be like you i.e., some people may prefer silence to loud music while travelling in trains/buses/planes/ships

In any environment where others cannot escape from you and your behaviour , it is incumbent on you to be mindful of them. Sense and sensibility plays a great role in civilized societies. Not so much in Vedic ones.

The issue is afterall its a public transport. My happiness & celebration should not spoil the sleep & rest of other co-passengers. Or are we saying either accept all this "noise" or book AC First Class ? BTW in developed countries public transport is usually with 0 noise

Yesterday he had problem, an auntie cooking maggie in train & providing safe un-contaminated food to her family & did not give him. Today he is praising a happy traveller singing and raising noise pollution with others in the compartment. That's Doglapan my friend.

The issue is not HAPPY PEOPLE. The issue always is that there are ways of sharing your happiness which are not so in-your-face. It is not necessary that music which sounds great to you , should be so for others too.

Actually, it's very common. All my train trips have been memorable ! You just strike up a conversation with people around you and one thing leads to another and you don't even realise when you arrive at your destination.
