🚨 Indiranagar has the exact same problem, as highlighted by Kavitha Reddy | ಕವಿತಾ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ for HSR Layout. Almost 500 metres of 11th Main are routinely occupied by NPS buses, creating chaos and inconvenience for commuters. Despite repeated complaints, there seems to be zero meaningful action from the authorities.... This morning was no different. And the irony? NPS is at least 300 metres away from this stretch. @KavithaReddyKR Pvt Schools owned by Netas cutting across party lines. @blrcitytraffic will not act. If Public Transport was good there'll be no need for 1000s of School Buses adding to congestion. Instead of indiscriminately widening roads these root causes should be addressed. @krishnabgowda

@KavithaReddyKR Bangalore should explore options of moving schools from busy city centers to the outside of these areas. Like how Goa has done in Panjim. All schools in one complex.

@KavithaReddyKR In front of all schools during pick up and drop there is traffic. You have to adjust. Children safety is priority. Which school did you go?

@KavithaReddyKR in indiranagar all lanes are occupied by landlords they have not parking in their house but reserve all the place on roar for them and fight with others who park their vehicle - all officials and big shots stay here so police authority do not work

@KavithaReddyKR Schools are part of the community. Only in India do we cry about schools working as they should. In civilized countries like the US and Australia, school roads are blocked for normal cars during school drop off hours

@KavithaReddyKR Even in Yeshwanthpura behind taj hotel .. more than 100 buses of NPS will be parked and the drivers drive very negligently ..

@KavithaReddyKR Just go back to records (20+ years) and see if any govt schools got closed in that area, result of it is this, private schools like mashrooms, here & there... to replace one-two govt schools. We ignored govt schools and now we are the recipients of our ignorance.

@KavithaReddyKR This is the case with Jayanagar NPS as well. And they actually have space in the campus to keep the buses but they will want to occupy the road.

@KavithaReddyKR The same problem in Koramangala. NPS buses create traffic nuisance in the roads in and around NGV and the NGV residents are fed up complaining to Police.

@KavithaReddyKR not just nps, random buses, lorries, tata ace, etc who have no business in that area. Just being allowed to park for no reason. Heck its the story of blr. Stop illegal parking of bmtc, private buses, tractors etc and minimum 30% traffic improves.

@KavithaReddyKR Whole Indiranagar people uses roads as their parking garage. Why are you selective about NPS buses? BTW I couldn’t spot NPS in tge video and dont remember seeing them whenever I take that road.
