Canton, Ohio police responded to a call about shoplifters at the local Walmart yesterday. The dude pulls a handgun with an optic and weapon light (likely stolen as well....) and attempts to shoot the officer but there's a distinct *click* as he goes to do so. Either the chamber was empty or a bad primer (guessing empty chamber as he doesn't appear so bright...). He's also lucky the cop didn't conduct an impromptu ballistic gel test on his torso as he would have been justified if he did. The man has now been charged with attempted murder & his bond was set at $1 million.
