We live in Kentucky and were hit by a semi driven by a guy who had limited ability to speak or understand English. Fortunately, it was a minor incident, but he tried to say it was our fault when we were literally sitting still at a red light, then wanted to leave before we got the police there for a report. Too many people don’t care about this stuff until it affects them directly.

Congress can fix this, and maybe even the US DOT, by giving States the ability to seize trucks driven by illegals in their states as liquidated damages caused by illegals with a CDL. Then trucking companies will stop allowing illegals to drive their trucks because they don't want them seized.
