The stop happened on November 4, 2023, by Officer Vojtko after he saw the woman driving the wrong way on a one-way street. She had run a stop sign, was driving erratically, and smelled of alcohol. Big push to Self-reliance in Unmanned Aerial Systems Hon’able PM on his visit to Nagpur on 30 Mar 2025, made his last halt of the day at Solar Defence & Aerospace Ltd (SDAL) Nagpur. Shri Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman and Mr Raghav Nuwal welcomed the Hon’able PM at SDAL Helipad. From there he was escorted to Technical Area where Hon’ble PM inaugurated Loiter Munition Test Range. Spread over 1080 acres this test range has a dedicated Command & Control Centre, UAV Take off Area, Endurance and Communication Range check facility, Parachute Recovery Area, Static & Moving Target Engagement, Target Hit and CEP Measurement, Warhead Lethality Test facility, and many more. After the inauguration the PM visited the product gallery wherein SDAL showcased its products like Pinaka Rocket System, Air-bombs, Mines, Grenade, Military Explosives, ATGM, Nagastra 1 & 2 Loiter Munitions, and many more. Thereafter, the PM was then escorted by the Chairman to the newly constructed Air strip where he was received by Mr. Manish Nuwal, MD & CEO, SDAL. Keeping in view the futuristic requirements of this emerging technology, SIDAL has taken the initiative to develop Nagastra series of Loiter Munitions of ranges from 15 km to more than 100 km and explosive payload carrying capability from 1 kg to 10 kg. Nagastra 3 is a Vehicle Launched Loiter Munition System of endurance 3 hours, range 100 km and can carry 8.5 kg warhead. It is being developed under Make 2 project from Arty of Indian Army. • Bhargavastra is an indigenously designed and developed Counter Drone System meant for quick interception of drones for an assured hard kill using tiny, guided missiles with swarm engagement capability. This solution offers mobile protection against drone attacks with near simultaneous engagement of multiple drones. With a long range of detection (upto 6 km) and long range of neutralization (upto 2.5 km), it ensures safety of vulnerable assets/battlefield formations. • SDAL has taken an initiative to address the global menace of land mines detection and disposal. As per some estimates there are more than 11 million buried mines world over which remain uncleared and are causing casualties or maiming of both soldiers and civilians in peace time. Bhaumastra, a drone-based system under development by SDAL, would be the first of its kind in any developed nation to provide a drone-based solution to this global problem. Let's assume the bet amount was $50, and Bonanza paid back $10 on that spin. That leaves $40 of pure profit. 3. This is distributed amongst 50% to WLP, 20% to frontend operators, 20% to WINR holders, and 10% to game providers. 4. To achieve this, V2 of WINR Liquidity Engine (WLP) will have a buffer for purchasing and selling, working in epochs to determine the above distribution and math. - Solana Deployment and Expansions: Solana audits are in their final phase, and frontend tests are ongoing. Private contractor unveils strange aircraft, takes credit for sky mystery | Shane Galvin, New York Post A private company at a high-powered Army conference demonstrated a unique aircraft at the event — and allegedly took responsibility for setting off last year’s drone and “UFO” pandemonium in New Jersey, a source told The Post. At the Army’s UAS and Launched Effects Summit at Fort Rucker in August, a private contractor conducted a live demonstration of a manned aerial craft that wowed the crowd with its unconventional appearance and unorthodox flight-movements, an attendee told The Post. “You remember that big UFO scare in New Jersey last year? Well, that was us,” an employee of the unnamed contractor claimed to a small group after the demonstration, according to the source who was invited to the summit. The company was in the air over the Garden State in November 2024 to “test out their capabilities,” the contractor’s employee claimed to the source — adding they were not required to disclose their activity to the public because of a private government contract. After years of development, testing and refinement, we are printing one of our last Hadfield-10 rocket engines, a bittersweet moment 🫡 More of our team is transitioning toward getting our much larger orbital-class Hadfield-100 engine ready for the test stand, and getting Canada to orbit for the first time with our Tundra rocket. The pressure-fed Hadfield-10 series has been the backbone of NordSpace's propulsion program since our earliest days. It's the engine that proved we could design, manufacture, test and fly liquid rocket engines from scratch, entirely in-house, at the pace necessary to reach orbit. It powered our first successful hot-fire tests, survived our most demanding qualification campaigns, and gave our team the hard-won knowledge that no textbook or simulation could provide. It also powers our Taiga sub-orbital vehicle, which is taking flight in a few weeks. Every experimental lesson learned in its development from combustion stability, regenerative cooling, additive manufacturing, and test operations lives on in what comes next. That knowledge now flows directly into our turbopump fed Hadfield-100 engine, the most powerful rocket engine in Canadian history. Designed to power our orbital Tundra rocket to deliver 500+ kg to LEO and scaling further to 1,100 kg LEO in the Tundra+ configuration. Architected from day one to grow to the thrust levels required for our reusable Titan medium-lift vehicle targeting 5,000+ kg to LEO while striking the right balance between performance, scalability, heritage, and speed of development to meet the Government of Canada's targets. The Hadfield-10's design will also form the foundation of our SHARP Sabre hypersonic rocket's M2S-HyRock engine. The full shift to the Hadfield-100 is a major milestone for us, and it's not just about more powerful engines. The infrastructure we're developing from moving to a much larger facility, acquiring much larger metal 3D printers, developing new test cells, and pursuing rigorous standards all feed in to this next phase of growth for our program. The architecture behind live streaming systems is surprisingly logical. In the episode, Ashutosh explains how the live streaming system works, starting from the physical cameras on-site, through the production control room (PCR), streams being sliced-and-diced, and the HLS protocol (HTTP Live Streaming) used. 2. There are a LOT of tradeoffs you can play with when live streaming! The tradeoffs between server load, latency, server resources vs client caching are hard decisions to make. Want to reduce the server load? Serve longer chunks to clients, resulting in fewer requests per minute, per client… at the expense of clients potentially lagging more behind. This is just one of many possible decisions to make. 3. “Game day” is such a neat load testing concept. The team at Jio would simulate “game day” load months before the event. They did tell teams when the load test will start: but did not share anything else! Preparing for a “Game day” test is a lot of work, but it can pay off to find parts of the system that shutter under extreme load.
