An unidentified man allegedly threw ink at AISA National President Neha Bora during the ongoing Assembly march in Ranchi on Friday, briefly disrupting the protest before he was overpowered by police personnel and taken into custody. The march, called by the All India Students' Association (AISA), is being held in support of the ongoing agitation by JPSC and JSSC aspirants, who have been protesting over alleged irregularities in Jharkhand government recruitment examinations. Hundreds of students have joined the procession, which is moving towards the Jharkhand Assembly amid slogans demanding transparent recruitment, accountability, and action over alleged examination lapses. AISA president Neha Bora, who staged a 22-day fake hunger strike during the CJP protest for attention, was not taken seriously by anyone at the CJP protest. The CJP leadership did not include Neha Bora in any important discussions, nor did Abhijeet Dipke give her a place on the CJP's main stage to conduct her hunger strike. CJP spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka met government ministers 4-5 times, but they never took Neha Bora with them. After the Education Minister's resignation, the CJP leadership celebrated with the protesters and then went home. The students also left the protest site. Neha Bora was left alone at the protest site, so she called in a hired crowd. They put flower garlands around her neck, carried her on their shoulders through the streets, and raised slogans in her support, portraying her as the leader of the protest. By doing all this, Neha Bora is trying to take credit by claiming that she was the leader of this protest and that the minister resigned because of her. From Neha Bora's hunger strike to now calling a crowd to raise slogans in her support - it's all fake. 😂😂

When an Organiser Weekly reporter approached Bora for a comment, she refused to speak, saying, “You are spreading lies,” and asked the reporter to leave. The exchange comes a day after Bora was targeted with ink during an AISA-led march towards the Jharkhand Assembly. Police detained a 26-year-old man identified as Amarnath Pandey after the incident. Slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” were raised at the spot, according to reports. Pandey was also quoted as telling PTI that he targeted Bora because of her support for jailed activist Umar Khalid. Bora, however, alleged that the attack was carried out by “RSS-BJP goons” and said that around 20 other women were also targeted. “I wear this ink with pride,” she said, adding that attempts to shame protesters would not stop them from raising their demands. The BJP and ABVP have rejected the allegations, and there is no official confirmation of a link between the accused and either organisation.
