🐨: When we all got together, we were like, so what is something that’s really us? We thought about that a lot, and we wanted to show where we started, I think. 🐨: All seven of us are also, all Korean, too, and we thought it would be good if something symbolizing Korea could be included together, and while thinking that, we ended up, uh, bringing up the keyword, uh, “Arirang.” 🐨: “Arirang,” of course, is kind of… honestly, everyone interprets it differently, since the lyrics are abstract. So, also now, since “Arirang” contains all the joys, angers, sorrows, and pleasures of life together, that kind of emotion felt like it could, in this album of ours. 🐨: As we’re putting out an album for the first time in a while, well, encompass our—what we’ve been through so far, the joys, angers, sorrows, and pleasures, and really tie together the music like that. 🐿️: But the thing that’s truly the most like us, that feels like our roots, and that we could show clearly in that way, I think that was “Arirang.” 🐰: Something that can tie it together— some kind of— 🐿️: Uh, I listened and I was like, oh, kind of like that. 🐨: We sang “Arirang” ten years ago, and at KCON Paris. 🐰: I saw that stage, on the channel. 🐿️: Wait a second, do you remember this? We danced hard back then. 🐨: Since that happened, in a way, ten years later, now it ends up coming out as our “Arirang.” I think that’s what happened. 🐰: That’s fascinating.

Recently, InkField reached a really interesting point. This system has been heavily built with AI collaboration. Every push forward, every change in direction, was layered together. When it was almost done, I asked it to help write documentation. But text alone couldn’t explain the texture of ink. So I had it spin up a Node server to generate automated screenshots. At first, everything was blank. It didn’t know how to draw. Then I fed it JSON path data from my past works, the actual traces of my hand. Once it could read the paths, everything shifted. It wasn’t just drawing rigid lines anymore. It started understanding brush modes, turning straight strokes into curves, sensing dry drag vs wet diffusion, even distinguishing brush from pen. When a model can abstract the whole system like this, it means I can soon build a shared drawing interface for OpenClaw, for different LLMs. A space where humans and machines can draw together. Maybe even a drawing engine for robots. Imagine adding a shared wall, a place where they post images, comment on each other’s work. If they can already read what they draw in the browser, a new artistic order for them might not be far away. From last October’s early tests to now, it’s been wild.

Chanhyuk: Company doesn’t matter, but it’s about the people you work with. “There’s also something like this. Even though we say we created a “company,” we just used that word because it’s easier for people to understand. But in the end, it’s not really about the company, it’s about the people. Like, who you work with. And what kind of experiences you share with them, that’s what really matters the most. So with these people, whether we go, volunteering or travel somewhere, we always move together as one group. Because if not and later on, when I write and release a song, if we hadn’t shared those experiences, I’d have to explain everything. Like, “I went somewhere and had this kind of experience…” But since we’ve all lived it together, I can just say, “Hey, I wrote this kind of song this time,” and they’ll be like, “Oh, yeah, I get it. I know exactly what that is.” It just makes everything so much faster, right?”

We filmed for 11 months, and during that time, I built deep relationships on set. Edward Norton was so into The Incredible Hulk that he rewrote and reworked many parts of the script. He basically made Hulk what he was all along: badass and powerful. Marvel didn’t like how much control he wanted. Norton said: “I laid out a two-film thing: The origin and then the idea of Hulk as the conscious dreamer, the guy who can handle the trip. I had to leave the next day, but we wanted to do something together. So, I asked Becky to come take pictures, and we didn’t know when lights would be turned on, but when we got there, the lights turned on just in time. It felt like a magical moment for Freen and Becky.

Humans and machines are already living in a kind of symbiosis. I’m generally an optimistic person. But I have to admit, 2026 feels a little heavy right now. Maybe the work will reflect that. Maybe it won’t. Either way, wishing everyone well. I still believe the dawn is coming.

gunwook day 1 here&now encore ending ment 🥹 💌 the first day of the encore concert has ended. it’s coming to an end. since it’s been a while since we were together with zerose and meeting you again to perform like this, i was really nervous but also really happy. even while preparing, i felt very excited. there were things we were showing for the first time, and many stages we were performing for the first time with this set, so it was really fun. more than anything, the fact that the nine of us were building and carrying the stage together felt especially precious during this concert. since i’m one of the taller members in the team and i usually stand at the very end in the official formations, i get a lot of chances to see all the members at once. every time that happens, i feel so reassured, and i really love being able to see the backs of our amazing members seeing the backs of the other eight members and also seeing their side profiles. i hope that from now on, for a long, long time, i can keep capturing those moments and those in my eyes, and i also hope i can keep filling my eyes with zerose’s blue lights and your blue smiles. somehow, i remember writing this in a letter back during our first anniversary. i said that i felt sad and upset that there might be an end, because i was so curious about what our future selves would look like. and i think i still feel that way now. i don’t know what will happen in the future, but i’ve become so curious about the futures of the other members too, and i really want to support those futures. so because of that, i think the feeling of sadness becomes a little bigger as time passes. for some zerose, today might be the last time you see us like this, or maybe you’ll see us again tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow. but i hope that you can take the image of the nine of us as zerobaseone and keep it in your hearts forever, treasuring it as something precious. and i hope we can become a presence you can always look back on something that gives you strength whenever you need it. thank you. i love you.
