@WillClay25 @localmanweather In an area that has had multiple EF5 tornadoes pass through over the years. Great job and crazy video!!!

@WillClay25 @localmanweather You've gotta stick with the Cornado brand for this intercept.

See the air cannon launch into the violent #tornado? The #Dominator 3 cameras captured this incredible donut vortex around a violent #tornado near St Libory, Nebraska. The Doppler on Wheels measured a 200 mph wind above the ground with this twister. Check out the data set from our historic air cannon launch into the Blue Rapids, Kansas wedge yesterday. The parachute probe completed three loops around the tornado, with greater diameter with height as the dynamic pipe widened This is a huge breakthrough by extreme engineer Will Clay

Check out this camera angle of the #tornado intercept with LocalMan Weather capturing the impact of the violent #tornado core. It spun the Dominator 3 while in park either 460 or 100 degrees. I thought we were airborne for a split second but the Dom3 did its job! Will Clay whipped up the air cannon with a direct hit on the first launch. Insane patience to wait until a half second before impact Watch the full video here:

Check out this incredible 3D data from out parachute sensor launched by air cannon into the wedge #tornado near Blue Springs, Kansas. The sensor did three loops around the tornado and shows the dynamic pipe widening with height. This is Will Clay heroic efforts

Can you handle 60 seconds of MASS CHAOS for science? Watch the #Dominator 3 wind vane inside this violent sub-vortex after launching a sensor by air cannon. We are attempting to achieve a ground-up, 3-D data set of wind amd thermodynamics inside a #rornado. Never stop chasing #stormchasing #Dominator

Watch this big-time #tornado intercept in the Dominator 3! We measured a 120 mph wind inside the suction vortex as the tornado planted. Later that night, a powerful tornado struck Valley View, Texas. Tornado Alley has been so back. We are watching the October 20-23 window for the start of the fall severe weather season! Live Dominator mode will be back soon.
