This was a very productive day! (dev day 81) I managed to build the whole tech tree upgrade system from scratch today in just under 6 hours or so. The system builds the hierarchical view from a json file and saves the acquired upgrades into playerPrefs so they persist. I spent quite a bit of my time working on the json -> unity UI parser and I think I have a pretty decent solution in the game now! The graphics are placeholders, I plan to add icon based tree instead of text labels. But this is where I got today. It took a while to iron out a gazillion bugs that came from using unity scrollRect, combat the unity UI scaling issues and make sure everything works in build game as well and all my debug tools work correctly. Now, sleep! #IndieGameDev #unity3d #buildinpublic

One of the main differences of the game today compared to my prime is the equipment. That’s why it is so difficult to compare players of different eras, it’s a different game. Equipment advances have improved the game for every golfer, including myself as I would not have been able to play at the level i do today if the equipment had not advanced as it has and for that i am thankful. I used Cursor to vibe code a simple fishing game prototype on the Unity Engine. Here's my learnings: - I did not use any Unity MCP for this. The game was built entirely by Cursor models (Sonnet 4.6 for execution and Opus 4.6 for planning) - The model was able to set up the game, getting the basic game mechanics working fairly quickly - I had to use the Unity Game Editor UI to attach components to the in-game objects manually, but it was quite easy to follow the instructions given by the Cursor model - Unity Editor is huge and slow! Compared to Godot, I find the UI really clunky I feel tired looking at it - Unity Assets Marketplace is amazing, there are so many amazing art assets there (like the ones I am using for this game). This is probably the biggest strength of Unity. - I had some issues with restoring checkpoints, probably because of how Unity Game Editor UI being really clunky and I had to manually adjust things in the Editor, which the model doesnt have knowledge of Overall, the results turn out pretty decent, but it was a rather frustrating experience, especially when I had to debug issues or rollback changes. I am beyond heart broken to hear the news that a game that I love so much is shutting down. I did whatever I could to support the devs and promote the game. Without a doubt, this was easily the most fun I have ever had. Thank you to Mountaintop Studios and Nate Mitchell for supporting my streaming journey and helping me see numbers I have never seen in my entire life. I am not sure what's next, this dream of going pro is something I have been chasing and I hope that it will happen one day.

Today, I'm revealing my Roblox Game FULLY scripted using Claude Opus 4.6 Extended. This project took about 4 days to complete, and not a single line of code was touched by an actual scripter. In the conversation I had with Claude, I guided it to complete the entire coding, this game started with a Frontend and a Backend - It is now a fully complete frontpage Roblox Game. From UI Animations, to Visual effect movements, and UI Icons, it was all Claude. The game releases Tomorrow, and I'm expecting it to reach front page on Roblox within a few weeks. 300 Likes, and I'll share the FULL conversation, which was used to build the game. Claude is incredible, this is genuinely an insane movement for coders enhancing their productivity with AI. This is FRICKEN INSANE.

You can argue that extract camping is a part of Tarkov that adds to the intensity of game and not be wrong, but I would argue that game would be far better off without it and that if it happens with enough frequency the game stops functioning as intended.

When I saw that Assassin's Creed Unity was getting a 60 FPS update for current gen consoles, I honestly could not wait to see it with my own eyes. And after playing it, I realized it is not just 60 FPS. The game also seems to be upscaled to 4K, which is absolutely insane in my opinion and the game runs incredibly smooth! Many of you know that I have never been the biggest fan of Unity. But I have to admit, maybe it is just placebo, yet it genuinely feels like the game plays better. Almost like the controller responds more precisely to what I actually want to do. I tested it properly in stealth and of course in parkour, and I have to say, it feels amazing! For PC players this might not be anything special. But for someone like me, mainly playing on console, finally being able to experience Assassin’s Creed Unity at 60 FPS is a game changer. And by the way, co op also seems to be working normally again. This is honestly crazy to see!

I'm at chapter 4 of South of Midnight and I am just speechless man this game is shaping up to be game of the year for me this is by far one of the most creative games that has ever been developed by an Xbox studio. Yall go support this game I am having a blast I am definitely buying this game they nailed the setting and music the art style is top tier this is how it supposed to be done shoutout to Compulsion Games for doing a fantastic job!
