🚨 INSIDE CARRINGTON: Michael Carrick is completely changing the culture at Manchester United. During a tactical drill this week, a senior first-team player reportedly complained about the intensity of the continuous pressing triggers, suggesting the squad was being overworked before the Atlético Madrid match. Carrick immediately blew his whistle,...

Collect your $100 at the Carrington gates But let’s be honest fictional or not, don't you wish we had a manager doing exactly this behind closed doors right now? The standards need to return!

You're a fuckhead using the club you claim to support not only for engagement & attention, but flat out making up lies about the people there. Proper wanker.

Wait, let me get this straight... you're calling me a wanker for making up stories, but you are actively using Manchester United fans to drive traffic to your gambling posts

100% obvious. The body language on the pitch last season gave it away anyway. Love that Carrick isn't tolerating that nonsense anymore.

100%. Carrick's got the medals to back it up. If you don't run for a serial winner like him, you don't deserve to wear the shirt. simple as that.

All these won’t matter if we do not have a proper squad depth. Motivational speakers aren’t necessarily the bag movers. INEOS need to do something on time so the team can blend early on.

Temitayo 的头像
Temitayo1 个月前

Spot on. Motivation and "pundit talk" only get you so far if your players are completely burnt out by December. Carrick can be as ruthless as he wants, but without a deep, quality squad, we are fighting a losing battle. INEOS absolutely need to open the checkbook before the deadline.

They think he's clueless and knows nothing because he doesn't scream and shout like a certain fraud that I know. Don’t worry, Manchester United is in good hands. I'm very certain of that.

Hit the nail on the head. Some managers just put on a show for the cameras and touchline optics, but Carrick is doing the real work behind closed doors. The casuals will realize soon enough when the season kicks off.

You don't think any of the previous 5 - 10 managers tried this?🤔🤔🤔

Temitayo 的头像
Temitayo1 个月前

Fair point, they definitely tried! But there's a massive difference here: Carrick actually won 5 Premier Leagues and a Champions League in this exact dressing room. When Mourinho or Ten Hag demanded discipline, players could tune them out. When a modern club legend with a packed trophy cabinet tells you you're not working hard enough for the badge, you can't say a word back. His authority hits differently.

Hypothetically, if this were true (it’s not), who do you think it is? I love story time

Temitayo 的头像
Temitayo1 个月前

Hypothetically? Look at the tactical profile. Under the previous managers, Marcus Rashford was often criticized for his defensive body language and lack of tracking back when the team lost possession. If Carrick is implementing an intense, continuous pressing system before the Atletico Madrid match, a player used to saving their energy for transitions would definitely feel the burn first. It makes perfect narrative sense why a high-profile winger would clash with a manager demanding 100% defensive output in July.

RJ Jansen 的头像
RJ Jansen1 个月前

Is your hypothetical world from 8 years ago or current time? You really think anyone that just came back into the team and on thin ice would really vocalize his complaint in front of the team he’s just being reintroduced to? You need a redraft of this story bro

Temitayo 的头像

Haha, fair play You completely caught me out on the continuity logic there. Consider this the rough draft of the script. Next time I'll make sure the fictional timelines line up perfectly before I hit send Thanks for keeping me sharp

He is very correct to tell the player to leave. We want winners in the team not people who'd bitxh about training

Temitayo 的头像
Temitayo1 个月前

Exactly. We’ve tolerated that soft, complaining attitude for far too long at this club. If you're earning hundreds of thousands a week to wear the Manchester United shirt, you don't complain about running in July. Carrick is building warriors, not influencers.

Dean Taylor 的头像

Success or not, I want carrick to have time! We need to install the correct mentality within the next error within United and I believe carrick will drive United forward, whether that tomoz, or… he reminds me of Ferguson in this aspect but needs time to demand the authority!!!

Temitayo 的头像
Temitayo1 个月前

100% with you. Sir Alex didn't win the league in his first three years either he needed time to clear out the players who didn't care about the badge. Carrick has that exact same steel. If the board backs him and gives him the time to establish his authority, the rewards will be massive.

Dean Taylor 的头像
Dean Taylor1 个月前

Carrick plays the correct system, adapts the play and keeps the “hairdryer” treatment behind closed doors! (I believe) Mainly trusts the players in their strengths!! Time is our only success moving forward with his mentality/ leadership! Not scared to fail/ learn either 😊

I ain't a man U fan but I back his stance to many players are pampered and not willing to put in the effort obviously when the fixtures start piling up the training won't be as intense hence why it's harder just now.

Temitayo 的头像
Temitayo1 个月前

Spot on. People don't realize that July/August is the only window a manager gets to build that baseline engine. Once the Champions League and mid-week fixtures kick in, training shifts entirely to recovery and video analysis. If you aren't putting the hard yards in now, you simply won't survive the winter schedule. Respect for the objective take🤝

🚨 🔴 🇮🇪Roy Keane: “Michael Carrick will have a better career managing Manchester United than Amorim” 🗣️Roy Keane: “I have to give Michael Carrick a lot of credit. The job he’s doing at Manchester United is starting to convince me more and more every week. At first, I thought Ruben Amorim’s approach was the right one, but football is about results, belief and the dressing room. Carrick has built something different. One thing Carrick has that every top manager needs is a genuine relationship with his players. I wasn’t that type of manager or captain I was demanding and ruthless but Carrick has a way of making every player around him feel confident and important. You can see it in the performances. Take Joshua Zirkzee for example. If United don’t sell him, I genuinely believe he’ll become a proper baller under Carrick because he’s finally playing with confidence. And Marcus Rashford? Keeping him could prove to be one of the smartest decisions the club has made. If Carrick continues to back him and gets him believing in himself again, I think we’ll see the Rashford everyone knows is capable of. The atmosphere around the squad looks different now. These lads look hungry, they look together, and they look ready to fight for each other. That’s what Manchester United has been missing for a long time. Carrick has brought belief back into that dressing room, and if they keep this mentality, I think this team is going to be absolutely fired up this season.”

Jamie Carragher DOESN’T believe Michael Carrick will EVER win the Premier League at Manchester United. Jamie: “Carrick's not gonna win the league with Man United.” Man United fan: “Yeah, and I think it's very easy and very basic to just say that it's like Solskjaer again because, yeah, they both used to play for the club.” “But why is it, you know, Pep at Barcelona is like Solskjaer if you want to be like that.” “But I think you have to look at who Michael Carrick is and what Man United are.” “The biggest reason why Solskjaer didn't win a trophy, he even got to a final, let's not forget, got to tons of semi-finals, finished second in the league, third in the league, the only manager we've had in the last 13 years to win back-to-back top-four finishes.” “The reason we didn't win a trophy is because the squad was a mess. We didn't have a good enough team.” “You know, ask Pep Guardiola, the best manager, Pep's the supposed best manager in the world, but he still spends as much as anyone.” “It's not like he's so good you don't have to spend money.” “We've spent it on the wrong players.” “If we build a squad, as we spoke about before, that actually makes sense, that's coherent, instead of having one manager like Sir Alex that can win the league, you end up with a team that can be managed by multiple different people like Michael Carrick and still be successful.” “You know, it's hard to win the league. We've had how many managers in the last 12 years and none of them have won it.”
