This is undoubtedly one of the most famous statues from antiquity, and most of you have seen it. But there are so many interesting things about it that I wanted to put together for those who don’t know much beyond the fact that it’s famous. The Belvedere Torso is one of those sculptures that literally changed the entire history of art, even though it’s just a fragment. The Torso is a 1.59‑meter marble fragment of a seated male figure, signed by Apollonios, son of Nestor, Athenian... yet another proof that the Greeks shaped stone with an understanding of the body that feels almost impossible for its time. It’s been known in Rome since the 1430s and today is in the Vatican Museums. Headless, limbless, yet one of the most admired sculptures in the world. Renaissance artists treated it almost like scripture. Michelangelo studied it obsessively. The twist of the body, the tension of the muscles, you can see them echoed all over the Sistine Chapel. It was so influential that people called it The School of Michelangelo. There’s even a story that Pope Julius II asked him to finish the statue by adding limbs and a head and Michelangelo refused, saying it was already perfect. In 1798, Napoleon seized the Torso and took it to Paris, placing it in a place of honor in the Louvre. It became a major spark for French neoclassicism. After the Restoration, Antonio Canova personally brought it back to the Vatican in 1815. Who is this figure though? Heracles, Prometheus, Ajax… and even more unusual proposals like Theseus, Philoctetes, a satyr companion of Dionysus, a river god, or even a fallen giant. The uncertainty is part of its power. The Ajax theory is especially compelling. The pose matches the moment he contemplates suicide after losing Achilles’ armor to Odysseus. Even the skin he sits on is debated. For centuries, people thought it was the Nemean lion, supporting the Heracles theory. Recent studies suggest it might be a panther, which opens the door to other mythological identities entirely. Whoever he is, a part of me hopes we never fully discover it. The mystery is part of the allure… the way a fragment can hold more imagination than a finished story, a bit like Nike.

‼️DECLASSIFIED: New 2024 Infrared UAP Footage Released — Military Still Can’t Identify It 👀 As part of the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System (PURS), the Department of War just cleared for release a stunning new video. This isn't a leaked cellphone clip—it is one minute and 39 seconds of high-definition infrared footage submitted by the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. The 2024 Incident: This footage was captured by a U.S. military platform in 2024, proving that these incursions are not just "historical" relics but an ongoing reality of our current airspace. The "Unresolved" Status: Unlike previous clips that the Pentagon tried to dismiss as "parallax" or "tricks of the eye," this Indo-Pacific footage remains an unresolved case. The government is officially admitting they cannot determine the nature of the observed phenomena. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated that this release is part of a mandate to find, review, and declassify these files expeditiously. The days of "justified speculation" are being replaced by raw data. This footage follows a series of other chilling reports from 2024, including government contractors witnessing a "large metallic cylinder" the size of a commercial airplane that vanished in mid-air. We are seeing objects with morphological features and behaviors that defy the state of the art. The Reality: The "War for the Mind" includes keeping us in the dark about what is actually in our skies. But with the unsealing of these files, the "scales" are finally being removed. 🏛️📉 If these objects can't be identified by the most advanced military sensors on the planet, then who is flying them? The Department of War has even invited private-sector analysis to help resolve these cases. That means the "Noticing" community is now officially part of the search for the truth. RT to spread the declassified proof. The era of secrecy is over. 👇

‡ Yet Another Dubious Stewards Decision There is a long-standing complaint relating to stewards decisions that is shared by virtually all horseplayers: they should be more consistent in their decision making. Such complaints are legitimate, and consistency should always be a goal, not only in the officiating of horse racing. But it seems to me that the problem illustrated by the DQ in Del Mar's 11th race on Saturday is, in some ways, even more frustrating. I am referring to what seems to be a far too common inability of stewards to watch replays carefully, and thoughtfully process what has been seen. While I credit Del Mar for having edited together all three views of the incident in the embedded clip, it would have been better if they had (also) slowed down the drone view, which, as is so often the case, appears to be the definitive view. I have extracted the salient drone view portion and zoomed in on the action, so that readers might more easily see the crucial incident that the stewards apparently failed to take into account. The dubious decision to DQ the winner (#3 red and white silks) was made on the basis that nearing the wire, it drifted out, and caused the eventual fourth-place finisher (#5 pink silks) to steady, possibly costing that one a better placing. But I would argue that a careful, and reasonably thoughtful viewing of the drone shot, clearly shows something different. Just before the incident referred to by the stewards, the #5 horse (pink silks) and #9 (yellow silks) made contact, and it was that contact which initially caused the former to steady. The winner did subsequently drift out, but that was incidental, and did not, at least on its own, cost the #5 a placing. In fact, that the two even came so close was arguably a direct result of the #5 briefly losing its hind-end as a result of the bumping with the #9 horse. Had it not been for that initial contact, causing the #5 to angle in towards the eventual winner, there almost certainly would not have been any meaningful loss of momentum. Parsing it even more finely, it appears, again from the drone shot, that the #9 was not at fault, and it was, ironically, the "victim" in the questionable eyes of the stewards (#5), which angled in and lost its hind-end as a result of that earlier contact. Given that the rider of #5 had understandably steadied more sharply after the initial, far more dangerous incident, the most important momentum loss had already occurred before the rider again steadied slightly, due to the winner drifting out. In summary, there were clearly two incidents which contributed to a loss of momentum on the part of the #5 horse. Equally clearly, it was the initial incident, not even mentioned by the stewards, that caused the greater loss of momentum. In my view, the incident that the stewards used to rationalize the DQ was trivial, relatively speaking, and given the broader context, there should not have been any change in the order of finish.

I’m still here because this was the hardest fan project we’ve faced in these six months. My patience and leadership were tested like never before to the point that I almost gave up in the middle of the preparation. There were nights I whispered to myself, “This will be my last.” I felt so pressured that sometimes I just wanted to hide and run away. On top of it all, I was carrying my own personal struggles, which made every step heavier. We took risks in almost every decision we made during this project. There were times when all we could say was, “Naniniwala kami sa Cheffies.” From tickets and props to the fan project and the fanzone everything was about risk and trust. Trusting the Cheffies that they would show up. Trusting the sponsors that they were only waiting for us to open our plan. Trusting Dustin and Bianca that they would see and hear our efforts. And above all, trusting each other as admins that no matter what happens, we would not give up on this. But it wasn’t just about risks. It was about sacrifices the sleepless nights, the drained wallets, the heavy emotions, and the constant balancing act between work life and fandom life. It was about choosing to fight even when we were tired, choosing to stay even when walking away seemed easier. Every small victory mattered, and every breakdown taught us something new. Looking back at these six months, I realized it’s not only about the events, the projects, or the milestones. It’s about the people who stood by me when I thought I couldn’t go on. The people I met along the way who turned into a second family. The laughter in between the stress, the comfort in the middle of the tears, and the bonds that were built in both the best and worst days. This is why, even when I wanted to let go so many times, I stayed. Because every hardship was matched with a reminder that I was not alone. Because this fandom has become more than just support for Dustin and Bianca it has become a home where friendships are nurtured, where trust is strengthened, and where love is felt. So this 6th monthsary is not just a celebration of Dustin and Bianca, though they remain the heart and reason for all of this. It is also a celebration of the Cheffies who never stopped believing, of the sponsors who trusted us, of the admins who fought side by side, and of the family we’ve built within Casa Dustbia. To Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera, thank you for being the inspiration that started all of this. You may never fully know the weight of what we’ve gone through, but because of you, we learned to be braver, stronger, and more united. And to my Casa Dustbia family, thank you for reminding me that even in the hardest of our story, there is always something worth holding on to. Six months have passed, but this is just the beginning. More pages are waiting to be written with laughter, tears, risks, and victories. And as long as we continue to believe, to fight, and to love, we will keep turning those pahina together. Happy 6th monthsary, Dustin, Cheffies, Sponsors and Bianca. Mahal na mahal namin kayo today, tomorrow, and in every chapter that’s yet to come. 🫂💛

So, my opinion on what the Antarctic (Antarctica) Anomaly is that it's a type of frequency technology. It must be way more powerful than HAARP, as many have claimed it to be, because we would see these anomalies at other HAARP sites, and we don't, not like this. With that said, and I'm very much trying to avoid letting what I want it to be not play a part here, I think it is a technology that is being used either off the coast of Antarctica itself or Bouvet Island. A third possibility is an area just to the northwest of the island that looks odd. It's possible it is a sonar scan from a ship, but why in that remote location? It looks like an antenna set up or rows of something that is out of place. I also believe that the weather events and fires that have taken place in Africa could possibly have been because of this. Each time we saw the anomaly, it was followed by a destructive weather event in Africa. A weird connection to that is we have been told and warned of a very busy 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. This is in part because of the above-average Atlantic ocean temperatures, which is the fuel to Hurricanes. With all this info, it's possible to see how the Anomaly could be a frequency tech that can manipulate or create weather, And or WARM up the Ocean temps to purposely enhance the Hurricane season and Storm growth. Keep in mind that many of our hurricanes and many of the biggest hurricanes have come from the west coast of Africa and form over the Cape Verde islands before heading towards the Caribbean and the United States. This is all of course speculation, and I'm learning many new things every day, so this idea may morph over time as we learn more. In the end, it is very hard to ignore all these findings. #antarctica #anonaly #AntarcticaAnomaly #BouvetIsland
