Every time I need to move data, I am digging through old bash scripts and praying I do not mess up. Recently I got stuck. I was moving a staging database to a new server and I was not at my PC. I only had my phone. I could not run my scripts and had to wait until I got home to fix it. That's why I built db-mover. It is simple, paste your source URL, paste your destination URL, and hit start. You get real-time progress bars and live logs. 100% open source. libghostty-vt compiles and runs as a standalone Wasm module (no emscripten)! Here is a demo video showing terminal key encoding in the browser. This is literally the same logic that powers Ghostty itself. It's happening! Devlog video with more details incoming. You can run this demo yourself, it's a single HTML file in the repo and the README contains a guide to set it up (one Zig command and then a web server command).

spent months on HumanPlane, a closed source Polymarket terminal. it did $250k+ in volume but i scrapped it anyways. why? cause every polymarket terminal is the same thing. closed source. a reskin of with marginal ux gains. polymarket already takes a 1–1.8% taker fee on every trade, so terminal fees are fees on top of fees you already pay. for a ui. the free ones are vc-funded — they won't stay free. so i rebuilt humanplane as the first free, open source, fully customizable polymarket terminal. run it locally, forever. don't like something? ask claude to modify it and make it yours. built w/ a performant rust backend and solidjs, supports market and trader exploration, live charts, orderbook and order execution (market + limit) -- intelligence, perps, trader scoring and more soon try it out:

This is literally the easiest way to build an AI agent. Zero code. You only need to run a couple of commands. (I've said this before, but Google ADK is my favorite way to build code-first agents.) Here is what you need to do: 1. Open your terminal and create an empty folder 2. Run `uv init` inside the folder (if you don't have uv installed, you are really missing out!) 3. Install the google-adk library using the following command: `uv add google-adk`. 4. At this point, you can use the ask to create your agent with a single command: `uv run adk create --type=config my_agent`. This will ask you a couple of questions, including your GEMINI_API_KEY (you can create one online). 5. The command above will create a my_agent/root_agent.yaml file. Open it and add the following two lines at the end of the file so your agent can use Google to search for stuff: tools: - name: google_search 6. You have everything you need now. Run the adk web interface and start playing with your agent: `uv run adk web` That's it! Literally zero code. The agent works off the YAML configuration file.

"Your first home run - and you're banking on hitting that home run - is that your open source project takes over the world. Everybody wants to download it." If you don't hit that home run, Ali says, you just shot yourself in the foot. You just gave away your IP and got nothing back for it. But even if you hit this home run, you still don't have a monetizable business. You still can't make any money. So you have to hit the second home run: "You need a 10x innovation on top of the open source. That's the proprietary value you'll provide companies. That's why they'll come to you. Otherwise, they can get the open source anywhere." If you don't hit the second home run, the hyperscalers pick up your open source model, and they offer it for almost-free. This is Notchy -_- He stops you getting distracted when using Claude code by replacing your Macbooks notch with a terminal He lets you know when claude needs your attention And plays a sound when tasks are complete Best of all: he stops your macbook going to sleep while claude is working I built this for me, maybe you will find it useful too? As a swift developer Notchy has some custom functionality I built: - When a new XCode project is open he launches a new tab - If claude.md is detected he launches straight into claude code - Command + S saves a quick snapshot of code and I can restore from that checkpoint any time Enjoy :)
