founders: you need these 3 optimized pages (btw Claude Sonnet 5.5 is crazy fast, i used it for this study) an about us page, a statistics page linked from it, and your money pages in the footer these contributed to 94k mentions in AI overviews and are the first fixes i'd make on any site. here's how (3 parts): 1. the about us page open with one line: "[COMPANY] is a [CATEGORY] that [DOES XYZ] for [ICP]." then 4 H2s:\ "what [COMPANY] does": 2-3 sentences on the service and the outcome "what makes [COMPANY] different": 5 differentiators with numbers. name competitors "who uses [COMPANY]": bullets with your exact customer types "the team behind [COMPANY]": founder names, backstory, links to their socials end it with a link to your stats page 2. the statistics page title it "[INDUSTRY] statistics [YEAR]" put two kinds of stats on it:\ industry stats, each with its source and date your own numbers nobody else has (product data, customer results, a quick survey) one stat per line, easy to quote the unique numbers are why it works. AI assistants and writers need a source to cite, and if a number only exists on your site, the citation points to you update it every quarter 3. money pages in the footer put your 4-6 most important pages in the footer: pricing, your core service, your main use cases the footer is on every page, so every page you publish sends internal links to the pages that make you money why this matters: Google's E-E-A-T and AI search both ask the same question: who is behind this site and why should anyone trust it? the about us page says who you are. the stats page proves you know your industry. the footer tells crawlers which pages matter most together they build topical authority, so you rank and get cited for your core topic
