glamour shots i'm interested in this idea with visionOS that each UI element floats in its own space instead of being contained in a single window

why are we constraining ourselves to an apparently phone-shaped bounding box why not have feeds that go to infinity, up and down, right and left

The problem with all these apps is that they are 2 dimensional. This mold needs to be broken.

I really want to be able to do a heart shape with my hands to like a post 😄 🫶 I was reading recently that in the human intefraces guidelines and it says button hit regions on visionOS need to be at least 60x60pt instead of 44x44pt. I wonder how this’ll impact design patterns and spacing for visionOS apps. Are those buttons big enough to be comfortably tapped?

Pinch and zoom to be immersed in panorama photos and spatial video. Straight outta the Instagram feed would be cool.

Wake me up when we get past the “everything is just a floating window version of what you already had on your phone” stage of early spatial development. The light bulb moment that we can start to develop for the way we think, in 3D, and that it’s actually better, will be great!
