Here’s a first look at Pico’s new operating system set to run on Project Swan, their upcoming spatial computer. It closely resembles visionOS on Vision Pro which I see as a positive. Apple’s OS represents the gold standard in the XR space for intuitive navigation. Can't wait!

Looks like you can now add "visionOS Build Support (experimental)" if you install Unity 2022.3.5f1. Currently, you can create, build, & deploy #VisionOS Windows Apps, & no VisionOS plugin is available under XR Plug-in Management yet, I believe this will roll out w/ PolySpatial.

My new Vision Pro app lets you switch between apps on your Mac… just by touching your desk. Bringing choclift to visionOS changed how I think about using a Mac in spatial computing. It’s not just about having a massive display – it opens up entirely new productivity workflows. Best part: if you lock it to your desk, it’s always there when you use Mac Virtual Display – even after restarting the device.

visionOS in REAL LIFE?! To pitch one of my Vision Pro app concepts to an online interior shop, we prototyped an idea we’ve had for a while: What if you could bring visionOS windows into the real world by printing them onto real frosted glass panels? Not only would this make for a fantastic marketing stunt, but it could also allow people to (kind of) experience these apps in stores without needing to wear a headset at all. Finding the perfect glass, turning a digital design into a printable layout, and producing it took many iterations. Each time, we had to reprint and refine the design, which took several months. For a single pitch, it was definitely too much work, but it was a fun experiment. Looking ahead, I can see this concept becoming the future of advertising Spatial Computing apps in the physical world.
