Cybertruck’s quick steer-by-wire & four-wheel steering system saves driver from a potentially bad collision. “On a two lane highway listening to the evening news when all of a sudden I see a car, glass, and parts flying at me. I cranked the steering wheel hard and fast to almost full lock. I missed the oncoming car by MILLEMETERS! This is a testament to how well the 4 wheel steering works and especially the drive by wire steering. Had I been in my Ram I would have either hit the car to my right at the stop sign, over steered and had to counter steer and would have either spun out, ditched it, or worse rolled it. Dear Tesla Team, dear Elon Musk I am reaching out to report a concerning issue that has surfaced since the recent holiday update for Europe 🇪🇺 Tesla drivers. Many in the Tesla community, have noticed that the autopilot's 'steering wheel movement' prompt has become increasingly difficult to dismiss with normal, gentle maneuvers. I did also a survey on my Instagram account and the situation confirmed of the people. In some instances, it requires such a forceful turn of the steering wheel that it feels sometimes unsafe. I have attached a video from a community member demonstrating the problem. Could you please check this matter? Thank you for your attention to this!🙏 André

🚨THIS IS AI … But how long before it isn’t? A glass autonomous car. No steering wheel. No driver. You’re literally stretched out in bed sleeping while the car takes you down the highway. It looks insane now. But think about how fast we’re moving. Self-driving cars already exist. Robotaxis are already carrying passengers. So is it really that far-fetched to imagine a future with: • Dedicated autonomous-vehicle lanes • Cars designed more like bedrooms than cockpits • Overnight road trips while you sleep • No steering wheel. No pedals. No human driver. Ten years ago, this video would have looked like pure science fiction. Today? I’m looking at it thinking somebody is probably already trying to build it. Would you climb into bed, close your eyes and trust AI to drive you 500 miles while you slept? Call me crazy but I’d do it!😂

The new OG Mahindra Thar now comes with Electronic Power Steering (EPS), and in my opinion, that’s the worst upgrade for a serious 4x4. For hardcore off-roading, electronic steering has a higher chance of failure than a traditional hydraulic setup in harsh conditions. There’s a reason the Toyota Hilux continues to use hydraulic steering it prioritizes durability and reliability. With the Thar’s tall stance, noticeable body roll, and poor aerodynamics, I believe it might be more prone to toppling during sudden evasive maneuvers. Add to that the upgrade from 18-inch to 19-inch alloy wheels, and I’m concerned it could further affect ride quality and off-road capability. Mark my words we may see more such incidents if these concerns prove true! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Mahindra Automotive anand mahindra

So Tesla AI FSD just randomly disengaged today when it hit a pothole. I expect the pothole torqued the tire which caused the steering wheel to torque and cause a disengagement. This seems like it could be extremely dangerous. luckily it was at slow speeds. Have you ever experienced this Devin Olsen Dirty Tesla ΛI DRIVR
