Instead of using an AI interface placeholder, why not let us choose our own home screen? We could set the lobby to Layla (Timeless Capture), use any owned skin, artwork, or even a looping animated artwork as the main interface. Storage shouldn't be an issue since players can choose... show more

We raised $5.5M to build an AI hardware interface that knows what you want. The world has changed: we talk to our devices, AI writes our emails, and self-driving cars pick us up. But how we interact with it all, touchscreens and keyboards, was designed for an age of browsing and searching. When we do hundreds of tasks a day, now even more with AI, every unnecessary decision, every step spent navigating instead of acting adds up to real cognitive load. We are building the Hardware Interface, designed for the age of AI. Private Pilot now open. Limited spots.

Generative AI is about to create the most addictive algorithms in human history. Spotify’s Co-President, Gustav Söderström, warns that because AI can understand you on a deeply personal level, the potential for digital addiction is massive. But AI is a dual-use technology. Instead of letting the algorithm dictate who you are, you can use it to program who you want to become. Here is the framework he breaks down: Implicit vs. Intentional: Current algorithms track what you *did*. AI allows you to explicitly tell it what you *want* to do. The English Interface: Historically, only a few million developers could dictate what computers did. Now, anyone can reprogram their digital experience using plain English. The future of tech isn't about letting AI control us it's about using AI to take back control of our own attention and habits.

sam altman: - someday everyone should have a personal robot. - we will definitely build humanoid robots, while also exploring other form factors. - the form factor is less important than figuring out the AI brain that makes the robot work. - he also agreed on building a kind of “super-app” that combines ChatGPT and Codex for AI. - he wants one AI interface that can do whatever you need. - it could use your computer and access your context when needed. - you shouldn't have to choose tabs, tools, or modes. AI should figure it out. - AI should be smart enough to understand what you want and act on it.

AI power users are here and the case for agent-friendly software is materializing. Aaron Levie on agents outnumbering people 1000x: "If you start to imagine that we all have to build software for agents… we spend as much time now thinking about the agent interface to our tool as we do the human interface." "If you have a hundred or a thousand times more agents than people, then your software has to be built for agents… it's going to be through an API or a CLI or MCP." "What if you give a coding agent access to your SaaS tools and a coding agent access to your knowledge work, workflows and context?" "It can actually code its way or use APIs through whatever task it's trying to achieve." "That appears to be like a paradigm that is starting to compound… and I actually think it kind of makes sense as the ultimate manifestation of this stuff." Aaron Levie

One of the biggest supplement brands (Resilia) right now has almost 6000 active ads. Using AI one of the main ways they reach the number of variety & quantity they are able to test. So instead of thinking if you should or shouldn't use AI in your ad account. I think the conversation should be more like this: How do we use AI to maximize the amount of diversity & quantity we can test every single week.

Sam Altman: "I think we should be more of a platform company than a product company.” “We just merged ChatGPT and Codex together. So we used to have ChatGPT, Codex, and the API. And Codex, sort of unfortunately named, but that was not just coding, it could do any kind of work, which confused people." “What I think most people want is the single interface to their own personal or their company's AGI that can kind of help them with whatever they need. And then the ability with an API to build anything they want on top of it. And that is the platform that we should offer to the world." “We're going to sell great AI at every point on the cost-performance curve. You want really high end AI to discover science, that's great. You want really inexpensive AI to do a massive amount of volume of work that maybe doesn't require genius level intelligence, we got you covered there too.” “I don't think we should go build every product category. I don't think we should go try to compete with all of our customers. I don't think we should try to subsume the entire economy. I think we should offer this platform and try to have 100 million new businesses and 8 billion people use it in all kinds of new ways."

This is cool, Elon Musk says SpaceX will allow their customers to use any GPU or TPU they want in SpaceX AI Satellites. "We do intend with our SpaceX AI Satellites to allow people to put whatever GPU or TPU they want. So Nvidia GPUS can be put on it, Google TPUs can be put on it, Amazon Trainium, or any other chips people want to put on. It will be such that you can run anyone’s AI, hardware or software on the SpaceX AI Satellites." An open platform design is so smart.

Take a moment to pause, reflect, and truly let this sink in. Think about the reality unfolding before our eyes—the suffering, the injustice, and the resilience of those enduring it. Let it weigh on your heart, not as a passing thought but as a call to awareness and action. What we choose to acknowledge, what we choose to stand for, defines us. So don’t just scroll past—sit with this, feel it, and ask yourself: What can I do?

EXCLUSIVE: Secretary Marco Rubio issues a blunt warning to Iran, saying the U.S. will not tolerate any effort to hold international waterways hostage through extortion or threats of force: “If what they mean by opening the straits is, yes, the straits are opened as long as you coordinate with Iran, get our permission or we'll blow you up, and you pay us. That's not opening the straits.” “Those are international waterways. They cannot normalize, nor can we tolerate them trying to normalize, a system in which the Iranians decide who gets to use an international waterway and how much you have to pay them to use it.” Trey Yingst

We built an app called Hatch It enables Karpathy's entire LLM Knowledge Base workflow out of the box, in 2 or 3 clicks, in a single interface. No need to stitch together Obsidian + plugins + markdown files + custom tools + etc. Hatch is an AI workspace where files, docs, and chats all live together. Not only can the chats READ files and docs, but they can WRITE and ORGANIZE them as well. This means you can set up an LLM Wiki in literally 3 steps, as I show in this video.

Dr Oz: "We have an advantage with AI. You know why? We don't think the way fraudsters think. That's just not what our minds do. The bank managers don't think about bank fraud. They want to do loans and help businesses. Fraudsters think about fraud. So the AI can think the way a fraudster thinks."

🗣️ Mikel Arteta on whether he has spoken to other managers or the Premier League about potentially changing the rule: “Yeah, but I think more than asking anybody else, the question has to be to the players. “What do they want? “If they raise their hands and say, ‘No, I prefer to stay at home and not travel,’ I think we have an issue, because then they don’t love what they do, which is matchday. “I’m sure that if you ask the players, everybody would like to be part of the squad on matchday because that’s the way that they can fulfil themselves. “Otherwise, you have to tell somebody, ‘You are not even part of this matchday,’ and that’s really, really tough. “It doesn’t help anybody. “It doesn’t help the club. It doesn’t help the valuation of the player. It doesn’t help the player feel part of something. “In my opinion, it’s a real issue that has a really, really simple solution.”

CYBER SLEUTH: Can AI crack the Nancy Guthrie case? A former White House Chief Information Officer says the new tech could lead to a major breakthrough: "They can start using AI to match up the eyes, so we have the eyes, the eyebrows, you can use AI to ask questions about what are the probabilities that these faces actually could be a good match, what are the probabilities that this person is wearing layers of clothing and they are not this bulky, what are the probabilities that they are taller than they seem to be and what do they weigh." "There's a lot of things that AI can be doing to aid this investigation."

Prediction: You’ll soon control everything from one interface 🔥 Opening different apps for different tasks feels super old school. Instead, you’ll have one interface to send emails, book flights, shop, and trigger countless services from. The apps themselves won’t disappear, but their interfaces will. Recently, I’ve been using several agents entirely through a chat. The interface is almost nonexistent, or “invisible,” you could say. But the underlying technology is more powerful than ever. Using a text interface alone won’t be enough. So I built one that is more dynamic, fluid, and visual. Here, the chat becomes the control layer, while “dynamic widgets” appear whenever you need them and disappear when the task is done. In this example, I ask my agent to plan my upcoming Japan trip, and several visual elements appear with options, prices, and dates. They help me make a decision and then get out of the way. Super easy and seamless to use. I don't think I'll ever go back to using overloaded booking platforms. And this goes far beyond travel. Instead of adapting to hundreds of different interfaces, the interface will adapt to whatever you’re trying to do. The future of interfaces is a persistent conversation surrounded by temporary, dynamic components.
