Let’s review the geopolitics: Peaceful nuclear aspirations don’t need to be built under bunkers. Strike now or deal with an Islamist version of North Korea later. And yes, they were actively rebuilding the facilities after the first strike, Operation Midnight Hammer. These simple facts continue to get lost in the debate over this incredibly bold foreign policy action. The action against Iran is long term thinking. The easy political thing to do would be to agree to a crappy deal and move on. That would be short term thinking.
