This evening, Israeli residents set fire twice to the perimeter of the UNRWA Headquarters in occupied East Jerusalem. This took place while UNRWA and other UN Agencies’ staff were on the compound. Over the past months, UN staff have regularly been subjected to harassment and intimidation. Our compound has been seriously vandalized and damaged. On several occasions, Israeli extremists threatened our staff with guns. It is the responsibility of the State of Israel as an occupying power to ensure that United Nations personnel and facilities are protected at all times. UN staff, premises and operations should be protected at all times in line with international law. I call on all those who have influence to put an end to these attacks and hold all those responsible accountable. Crime increasing as the situation worsens… and yet, the National Press Club in their pant suits fawn over every word that falls from Chalmers. He tells us the Labor government is modernising our electricity grid. As electricity becomes unstable and expensive. How very modern. He suggests they are “seizing the opportunities from Net Zero with a future made in Australia”, as long-standing businesses that used to make things here – close down for good. It sounds to me like he should instead have a PhD in spin. Not that the Australian media has much interest in questioning him. The establishment is immune, and the bubble is thick. However, we do need significant cuts to immigration, cheap reliable electricity and a lot less regulation across the board. We need to transition back to an industrial economy. SANParks has launched an investigation to trace and identify a man seen in viral social media footage allegedly engaging in dangerous and unlawful driving inside the Kruger National Park. These laws prohibit activities that could damage ecosystems, threaten biodiversity, endanger wildlife or compromise visitor safety. The organisation warned that violations could result in criminal charges, substantial fines, imprisonment, civil claims for damages and administrative sanctions. The agency highlighted that driving through rivers and ignoring road closures can severely damage sensitive ecosystems and infrastructure, while also putting both humans and animals at risk. Road closures in the park are often implemented for critical safety reasons, including flooding, poor road conditions and wildlife movement. SANParks confirmed that officials are actively working to identify the suspect and warned that once located, he could face the full might of the law, including fines and a possible ban from all SANParks-managed protected areas.
