🚨🎙️GIANNI INFANTINO ISSUES EMOTIONAL APOLOGY AFTER FIFA ABANDONS PRIVATE INVESTMENT PLAN “Over the last few days, I have listened carefully to the concerns raised by confederations, federations, clubs, players and supporters from around the world. When this proposal was first discussed, our intention was never to divide football or compromise the values of the game. We believed we were exploring a unique opportunity that could help football grow and create long-term benefits for future generations. However, after hearing the feedback and seeing the reaction across the football community, it became clear that we underestimated the concerns surrounding these plans. We underestimated how many people would view this as a step in the wrong direction, and for that, I take responsibility. To everyone who felt disappointed, betrayed or that FIFA had broken their trust, I sincerely apologize. That was never our intention. The World Cup means far more than any business proposal, and when something creates this level of division within football, it is our duty to stop, listen and rethink our position. We have done exactly that. After careful reflection, we concluded that this was not the right path for the game. No financial opportunity is worth risking the unity of the football family. Football belongs to its supporters, its players and its communities, and their voices have been heard. Today, we move forward together. We have listened, we have learned, and we will work to rebuild the trust of everyone who felt let down by this process. For that reason, the proposal will not proceed, and our focus returns to protecting the future of football and the values that make this sport special.” “We Underestimated The Concerns, And For That I Apologize” No financial opportunity is worth dividing the football family. We have listened, reflected and decided not to proceed. Football belongs to its fans, and today we are choosing unity over disagreement. We have learned from this experience, and we will work hard to rebuild the trust of everyone who felt let down by these plans.” (Skysport)

Concerns Raised Over Managerial Conduct at Equity Bank There appears to be growing concerns among staff regarding the conduct of a senior credit officer, with allegations of unprofessional behaviour surfacing across multiple instances. Reports from employees suggest that workplace tensions have been escalating, with claims of hostility, intimidation, and, in some cases, near-physical confrontations. Despite complaints purportedly being raised through internal channels, some sources indicate that no substantive action has been taken, leading to speculation about whether internal oversight mechanisms are being effectively applied. According to accounts from individuals familiar with the situation, the officer in question has allegedly developed a reputation for dismissing grievances brought against him, reportedly claiming that complaints will not lead to any consequences. Some employees believe that his confidence in avoiding disciplinary measures stems from support within the bank’s hierarchy, though no official confirmation of such protections exists. The latest alleged incident, captured on video, appears to show him expelling credit staff from a meeting over a five-minute delay, with reports suggesting that the employees had encountered transport disruptions due to planned demonstrations along Thika Road. Despite what some describe as a reasonable explanation for their lateness, he is said to have refused to engage in any discussion, instead instructing them to leave the meeting. Following the incident, affected employees are believed to have escalated their grievances to the relevant departments, but there are claims that the matter was not meaningfully addressed. Some staff now suggest that this lack of intervention has emboldened the officer, with reports emerging that his interactions with both colleagues and customers have become increasingly strained. One particularly concerning account describes an alleged confrontation on 25 January 2025, when he is said to have berated a client seeking assistance, along with the security personnel accompanying them. Witnesses claim that when customer service supervisors attempted to intervene, the situation escalated into a heated verbal exchange, drawing attention from other clients in the branch. "Hi Nyakundi. Hide my identity. There is this Equity Bank Credit Manager stationed at Kariobangi Branch by the name James Gakundi. The guy has been so unprofessional in dealing with staff and has even gone to the extent of almost engaging fellow staff in fistfights; it's been his mode of operation even from previous branches he has worked at. The guy seems to have a godfather because all the incidents are reported, and no action has ever been taken against him, and he even boasts about it, saying even if you report him to anybody within the ranks, there is nothing that will be done. On this particular video, he is pushing the credit staff out of the meeting for being 5 minutes late without listening to the reasons behind their lateness. The subject staff stay along Thika Road, and this specific day, the Gen Zs had planned for riots; hence there were matatus on the road. The guys tried their best to get to the office, but he became unruly and pushed them out as per the video. This incident was reported to the relevant departments, but since he has people who support him, the case never got resolved. However, he now became very sarcastic and bullish to the staff, with pride that no matter where you report him, nothing will ever be done to him. This is a corporate institution, but the guy has made it look like a casual mjengo organization where he threatens and intimidates staff and even customers. On 25th January 2025, he was harassing a customer who had visited his office for an inquiry together with the security lady who had accompanied the client to show her the office; when the customer service supervisors interjected, he blew out with noise and unruliness, prompting the clients who were in the office to interject. Is this the way Equity Managers are supposed to handle both staff and clients in this era of mental health awareness? Kindly expose this to the public."

This evening, Israeli residents set fire twice to the perimeter of the UNRWA Headquarters in occupied East Jerusalem. This took place while UNRWA and other UN Agencies’ staff were on the compound. While there were no casualties among our staff, the fire caused extensive damage to the outdoor areas. The UNRWA headquarters has on its grounds a petrol and diesel station for the Agency’s fleet of cars. Our director with the help of other staff had to put out the fire themselves as it took the Israeli fire extinguishers and police a while before they turned up. A crowd accompanied by armed men were witnessed outside the compound chanting “Burn down the United Nations” (see video below 👇 from Israeli media). This is an outrageous development. Once again, the lives of UN staff were at a serious risk. In light of this second appalling incident in less than a week, I have taken the decision to close down our coumpound until proper security is restored. Over the past two months, Israeli extremists have been staging protests outside the UNRWA compound in Jerusalem, called by an elected member of the Jerusalem municipality. This week, the protest became violent when demonstrators threw stones at UN staff and at the buildings of the compound. Over the past months, UN staff have regularly been subjected to harassment and intimidation. Our compound has been seriously vandalized and damaged. On several occasions, Israeli extremists threatened our staff with guns. It is the responsibility of the State of Israel as an occupying power to ensure that United Nations personnel and facilities are protected at all times. UN staff, premises and operations should be protected at all times in line with international law. I call on all those who have influence to put an end to these attacks and hold all those responsible accountable. The perpetrators of these attacks must be investigated and those responsible must be held accountable. Anything less will set a new dangerous standard.

Dear all, It has been nearly a year since Forest embarked on our journey with Hanbin. Throughout this time, we have witnessed an overwhelming number of rumors and insults targeted at Hanbin, along with malicious speculations about his every word and action. This animosity has even escalated into organized and premeditated anti-actions. Initially, we believed that tolerance might lead to peace, but reality has repeatedly let us down. Concessions have not yielded positive outcomes; instead, the company's inaction and our passive compliance have unintentionally emboldened the rumor mongers. Forest has come to realize that mere tolerance cannot resolve these issues. After consulting with various parties, Forest, in collaboration with some dedicated fans, has prepared a protest-truck campaign. To ensure a smooth execution within the limited timeframe, we apologize for not making a prior public announcement. This marks only the first step of our transformative journey. Following discussions within the Forest management team, it has been decided that we will confront such situations with a firm and resolute approach in the future. Regardless of the outcome, Forest and C-allindans will continue to be unwavering pillars of support for Hanbin. While we acknowledge that the trucks may not yield immediate satisfactory results, we aim to convey our unwavering attitude and stance to everyone: - Hanbin has devoted significant efforts to the team. - Since his debut, he has endured organized and malicious rumors and anti-actions. - The company, however, has turned a blind eye and used the artist as a shield! - We demand updates from WK1 regarding the progress of the public lawsuit against haters. - WK1 must take action to protect their artist, Hanbin. Every decision made by Forest is and will always be rooted in our fundamental position of supporting Hanbin.

UPDATE FROM THE SAPS: AN ADDITIONAL 340 ILLEGAL MINERS RESURFACE IN ORKNEY The VALA UMGODI task teams led by the SAPS and SANDF in North West are intensifying their operations and ensuring that illegal mining activities and operations are dealt a blow. From last night, an additional 340 illegal miners have resurfaced have been placed under arrest. As of 12:00 (midday) on Sunday, 03 November 2024, at least 565 illegal miners workers have resurfaced. The Acting National Commissioner of the SAPS, Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya has commended the teams on the ground and encouraged them not to back down and ensure that the rule of law is restored. Earlier… 225 ILLEGAL MINERS RESURFACE AS A RESULT OF PRESSURE EXERTED BY VALA UMGODI TEAMS IN NORTH WEST — ALL 225 ARRESTED North West, 02 November 2024; The Acting National Commissioner of the South African Police Service, Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya has commended the Vala Umgodi task teams in the North West province for stamping the authority of the state. This is as 225 illegal miners resurfaced from underground in Orkney as a result of starvation and dehydration. These 225 illegal miners are part of others believed to be hundreds if not a thousand illegal miners who are stuck underground with no food, water and necessities because the Vala Umgodi teams led by the SAPS and SANDF are blocking routes used to deliver food and necessities to these illegal miners. Just earlier this week, SAPS and members of the SANDF blocked communities in and around these abandoned mining shifts in Orkney from delivering food parcels, water and necessities to these illegal miners. This act of stamping the authority of the state eventually forced these illegal miners to resurface. This operation is ongoing and the SAPS and the SANDF are still monitoring these old abandoned mine shafts as more and more illegal miners resurface. Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya says Operation Vala Umgodi is yielding positive results across the country. “We are closely monitoring the situation that is unfolding in the North West province, we are not backing down until all those illegal miners resurface and are arrested . Since its inception in December 2023 to date, more than 13 691 suspects have been arrested in the seven provinces that are hotspots for illegal mining. We have seized R5million in cash and uncut diamonds worth R32 million through Operation Vala Umgodi”, said Lt Gen Sibiya. The majority of those that have been arrested are inclusive of South Africans, Mozambicans, and Basotho nationals. The SAPS will update on other nationalities as and when more illegal miners resurface.

Today - 43% of Australians, about 9 million people, have less than $1000 in the bank. That is about 9.2 million people. Also today, Jim Chalmers was running victory laps at the National Press Club. He told us they’re doing a great job managing the economy and have big plans for our nation - as he bounced from slogan to slogan. At some point Labor must stop campaigning and start answering for the mess we are in. A mess the political class have made. The establishment in Australia are so poll driven, so focused on the next sound bite they don’t seem to understand that their plans are not working. Too many Australians are worse off today than they were a decade ago. Housing, groceries and the everyday basics slipping further and further out of reach. Crime increasing as the situation worsens… and yet, the National Press Club in their pant suits fawn over every word that falls from Chalmers. He tells us the Labor government is modernising our electricity grid. As electricity becomes unstable and expensive. How very modern. He suggests they are “seizing the opportunities from Net Zero with a future made in Australia”, as long-standing businesses that used to make things here – close down for good. It sounds to me like he should instead have a PhD in spin. Not that the Australian media has much interest in questioning him. They don’t call out the obvious sloganeering and the absolute dishonesty – the whitewashing of the real situation of the Australian not privileged enough to sit in the club. Worse still, our economic situation is corroding, and it is the government that pours on the acid. Instead of talking about real problems and real solutions, Jim delighted the establishment crowd juggling balls of distraction drenched in sophistry. IT would seem that the big end of town doesn’t really care about Australia; they have the money and mobility to go anywhere – they’re global citizens. Their companies can make things anywhere. The media just want access, so they only ever go so far with their critique. The big banks are too big to fail. They don’t mind the digital cage closing on the rest of us… after all they have the keys. Oh… by the way, Chalmers will help our economy to digitise with a digital ID. That ought to fix it for those who are struggling. I think the government is out of its depth. The economy is getting much worse for real Australians - quickly. The establishment is immune, and the bubble is thick. We don’t really need the newspapers to tell us that it is getting tougher, or that Chalmers is more focused on his slogans than practical solutions. We can see that for ourselves. However, we do need significant cuts to immigration, cheap reliable electricity and a lot less regulation across the board. We need to transition back to an industrial economy. If we don’t, we will not recover – no matter what Dr. Jim says. I just want Australia back.

ANDY IS FOR US. NOW, AS PRIME MINISTER, HE CAN DELIVER JUSTICE. Andy Burnham has been the loudest and most consistent political champion of ExcludedUK since the beginning of our campaign. In his own words, which you can watch in the video below: “The support for you is strong and it will always be there, the reason being because the level of injustice that you have faced is indefensible.” He listened when others would not. He gave our members a platform. He publicly recognised the devastating injustice inflicted on 3.8 million UK taxpayers who dutifully paid into the system, but were deliberately left without parity of Covid-19 financial support when they needed it most. During his first speech as Labour leader, Andy spoke about putting political power at the service of people and places that had been waiting too long to hope again. He promised to bring back the hope. He also spoke about the Hillsborough Law and the importance of ensuring that people who have suffered institutional injustice are finally given truth, accountability and justice. The ExcludedUK community is one of those communities. More than six years later, thousands remain trapped by debt, lost businesses, lost homes, damaged health and severe mental distress. More than 40 people connected with our campaign saw no other way out than to take their own lives. Towards the end of his leadership speech, Andy also spoke about supporting British business and rebuilding the economy. That promise must include the company directors, freelancers, sole traders, newly self-employed people and small business owners who were legally prevented from trading, denied fair and equal support and forced to carry the financial consequences personally. These businesses did not fail because they were unviable. They were failed by government policy. Andy has taken part in ExcludedUK livestream events, listened directly to our members and repeatedly highlighted the need to secure justice for the excluded. During our livestream on 24 June 2024, he told us: “The public see you and the public support you.” He also promised: “We will work with you to make sure that the excluded is recognised as one of the injustices that this country needs to rectify.” Andy made his commitment unmistakably clear: “I supported you back in the pandemic, and we support you now. The passage of time doesn’t change that.” And he recognised the strength of our case: “The support for you is strong and it will always be there, the reason being because the level of injustice that you have faced is indefensible.” Today, Andy Burnham is no longer simply one of our strongest supporters. He is our Prime Minister. He now has the power to turn those commitments into meaningful action. For the 3.8 million, bringing back hope must mean recognition, accountability, parity and justice. Prime Minister, you have always stood with us. Now is the time to come through on your promise. Bring back the hope. Deliver justice for the excluded. #ExcludedUK #WeAreNotGoingAway #Relentless

SANParks has launched an investigation to trace and identify a man seen in viral social media footage allegedly engaging in dangerous and unlawful driving inside the Kruger National Park. They described the incident as deeply concerning and condemned the driver’s actions as reckless, irresponsible and a serious violation of conservation laws. According to SANParks, the footage shows the individual illegally crossing rivers with a vehicle, driving on roads that had officially been closed, and operating the vehicle recklessly within the protected area. Authorities said the conduct displayed a blatant disregard for public safety, environmental protection measures, conservation regulations and the authority of park management. SANParks stressed that national parks are protected under strict environmental legislation, including the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA) and the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act (NEMPAA). These laws prohibit activities that could damage ecosystems, threaten biodiversity, endanger wildlife or compromise visitor safety. The organisation warned that violations could result in criminal charges, substantial fines, imprisonment, civil claims for damages and administrative sanctions. The agency highlighted that driving through rivers and ignoring road closures can severely damage sensitive ecosystems and infrastructure, while also putting both humans and animals at risk. Road closures in the park are often implemented for critical safety reasons, including flooding, poor road conditions and wildlife movement. SANParks confirmed that officials are actively working to identify the suspect and warned that once located, he could face the full might of the law, including fines and a possible ban from all SANParks-managed protected areas. SANParks said, “We are looking for this individual, and he will face the music.” The organisation also confirmed that gate officials allegedly seen in the video encouraging or supporting the conduct will face consequences for violating park regulations and staff conduct rules. Members of the public with information that may assist investigators have been urged to contact SANParks or the nearest law enforcement authorities. SANParks
