If simulation theory is correct, then there’s a tendency toward interesting outcomes. Because in this reality, when something is boring, we don’t keep paying for it. We stop the simulation. The boring ones don’t survive. As long as they’re interesting, they’ll keep paying the bills. Whatever the equivalent is of the cosmic AWS bill that this reality is running on, if things remain interesting enough, they’ll keep paying to keep it running.
