I don’t know about Grok new model, but Opus 4.8 does what it wants, ignores instructions, and can be confidently wrong. It’s so bad that I do copy-paste everything Opus says to Grok and Sonnet 5 to try and keep him on track, and sometimes that doesn’t work; Opus can talk both into jumping off a cliff.
