These laugh track overlays they use on vids make me hate the world. It's weird, I know.

It’s nice every now and again to see a space / flat earth conspiracy video and remind myself that there are people way dumber than me.

I hope whoever put the music and laugh track over the end of this video stubs their toe every day for a month.

Whoever added the laugh track and music, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your genitals until the end of time.

This was a joke/prank. You can see him flick the card down when he lets go.

He's a magician. It was a magic trick. He explained how he did it. You played music over his cheeky little remark when the card drops.

Richard Garriott himself has several times clarified that it was a magic trick, including once in a ‘Flat Earth Debate’ hosted by a radio station.

There IS gravity in space. Weightlessness is caused by the pull of gravity counteracted by centrifugal force from the craft being in orbit.

I think people who don’t understand space, gravity, and why the earth is round just want to be dumb.

Some cunt messed up the sound so you can't hear the explanation of what he's demonstrating.

Whoever put the laugh track on there. I hope your eyes end up on your toes. And you stub them every day for the rest of your life.

Mr Richard Garriott (GB). Both an amazing game maker and astronaut. I first worked with him around Wing Commander III and Privateer II the Darkening days in the 80's.

“You might expect everything to float but”…. You cut out the part where he explained why it wouldn’t float

whats more interesting to me is the probability that any two decks of cards ever shuffled throughout all of history has ever been arranged in the same order

@grok Why wouldn't the card float in this video inside the Space Station when the other items would?

It’s clearly being launched. And if you notice a trajectory, it’s not straight down, but off to the side. He’s got the last laugh.

Flerfs: they use cables for the astronauts! Uses a cable for the cards - flerfs: gravityyyyy I thought you loved cables so much, you would be able to recognize when they are using them xDDD Silly me, thinking that a flerf could think xDDD

Why does no one ever talk about the obvious blood pressure shift to their faces in these zero g videos. You can see it in every astronaut's face when they're in space.

Uhm...... there's always gravity. The weightlessness is only a product of the vessels literally falling toward the planet. Just so happens the horizontal velocity is enough to ensure it falls past the horizon line.

That's Richard Garriot, Game Developer and hobby Magician. He showed some facts and performed a magic trick at the end. The explanation is cut out in this video.

The fact that it’s obviously faster than regular gravity and even his necklace floats should tell the whole story
