No Christian ever pushed that argument. Jesus was crucified, died, and Resurrected to Eternal Life. Jesus Himself stated numerous times that He was sent by the Father for the Salvation of mankind and that His life would be given for the ransom of many. Read the Gospels. Its all there. The year Jesus died and ressurected is associated with today's calendar, 2026 AD. AD means after death of Christ. This is big enough evidence for the death, burial and ressurection of our Lord Jesus. You are misrepresenting the core issue. Christians wrote down what they saw. The Quran (4:157) confirms that it looked to the christians as if it had been Jesus. So the christians didn't lie. Pair that with the Old Testament/Torah prophesies, and the many, many sacrifices in the Old Testament and here we are. I have not heard a good muslim commentary on why you celebrate Eid Al Adha. From a christian point of view it's so simple. The sacrifice points to Jesus. God provides the sacrifice, the sheep.
