Intern is gonna realize interns aren't even usually hired to do real work, no matter how much they make it sound that way in the job description. Internships are just a form of extended interview to see if people you work with will like you enough to want you back.

I had this exact issue many times (I was the intern) I knew asking for more work was dumb but looking busy while literally everything is just done is so hard. How stupid that some jobs pay you to waste your time essentially while you are literally done.

I do understand that though. Especially when you come into a new industry. It can be hard to find the flow. Intern was terrified of looking lazy.
