Interestingly, 3I/ATLAS could pass within 315 AU of the Pioneer 11 probe on August 30, 2040. This is if its path isn't altered by the gravitational fields of the yet-to-be-confirmed Planet 9 in the Ort cloud. Then, perhaps, who knows, 3I/ATLAS might strike our probe.

This means it passed at least 5 spacecraft (MRO, Mars Express, ExoMars TGO, Hope, Tianwen-1) to observe it and post images within 24h but nothing was posted. China’s silence is what’s most concerning because Geopolitical rivals don’t coordinate space data. The U.S. and China compete for prestige. If both are silent, it means they recognise this discovery transcends national interests In science, silence from competitors is often louder than words. When all agencies with telescopes on Mars refuse to show data, the most likely explanation isn’t “nothing to see.” It’s the opposite. Tianwen-1 has released over 14,000 images since 2021.
