introducing - a macOS app for X ◈ DMs & notifications ◈ mark DMs as unread ◈ add favorites ◈ add nicknames/notes for ppl ◈ tweet from menu bar ◈ browse timeline (5 min every hr) ◈ multiple accounts ◈ native embeds, no API usage

get it here

should've called it Only DMs

smh

first *real* payment 😅 lfg

bro doomscrolled too far that he had to make an app. no screen time restrictions were enough for digital crack

tnx to @heyandras for early testing and his suggestion to keep the tabs in memory instead of reloading (idk how i didn't think of that one lol)

the best thing is treating X as a messaging app, in the feed and DMs

sick landing page!

my fav is sama, he's already onto my next app

3.8 MB download!?!?!!!

bro finally found out about Swift ...

I see @orcdev & @AlemTuzlak 👀

One of those ideas where I feel like why didn't i build this Solid work Kitze

i've been using it (as an electron app) for years, then it broke and i missed it every single day glad it's back!

Nicee. How much of this is vibe-coded?

🤣

LOL, this is perfect. Every hour, quickly go through your timeline, engage with people, and then get back to work. So you can engage and keep working without getting distracted.

yes that's one of the features you can also engage with people anytime from the notifications tab I learned how to browse the timeline quickly with J K L kb shortcuts so 5 min is more than enough

Instant purchase. Will start using it today.

@PixeIUIs lfg 🙌

bro would do anything except update me

No rap for the launch with a product called DMX…

absolute skill issue...

No it’s not. Don’t be shy, the world is waiting. X gonna be giving to you, iykyk.

is broken

that's not the download link, removing from footer right now

yea thats where i found it

didnt the checkout take u to the correct download link, or did u just try to download without checking out

just snooped around the website first hehe

clean website btw!

you gotta do the whole profile update video of adding the link up there lol

i'm waiting to launch all of them

I love the concept

oh man have had a version of this idea for all my social accounts for a few months. glad you built it! great implementation

hmm should i do it for other socials 🤔 i have a version for youtube i should release soon

a singular app with customisable rules that can only be changed when an accountability partner enters a pin code for you. bonus if it doubles as a password manager and i can shove my passwords here so there's no way i can log in to my socials otherwise.

man u r so close to the 2 other things i'm releasing soon 💀 wait for it 👀

Looks great, and good job on actually shipping the app. Fun replies from some suspicious accounts :) Wish you great sales.

tnx man!

remember when u released me to the app store, good times

I'm in 😀

yes yes welcome 🙌 now log out from other browsers ... and take our twitter password and ... *coming soon*

remember when u turned me into a monorepo and released the react native version, good times

🫶 nice one

tnx man

ugh I wanted to build something similar for a while. Congrats man, buying for sure

I flip from "ugh" to .. "tnx for building it for me" in cases like these 😂

Really cool app. I would buy it especially the price is friendly. The only thing is im not on a macbook

it used to be an electron app 😭

No worries because im almost convinced that i should get a macbook. I just need to get over my emotional attachment to linux

Congrats! 🚀

tnx for the RT <3 u never miss man

🫡

you're a michelin star cook man, how can you be so fast both ideating and shipping

pls revisit after dec 25th 😭

LFG! Pretty cool :)

bro has been cooking for real 🔥 btw, features section flickers for me (zen)

this is the side side side cooking man 😭 more stuff soon

I bet I can vibecode in a violent monkey script in less than 10 min bro Sending my love tho !

I can *still* browse if I ctrl+n, send a new tweet, then catch the timeline on that dmx window :P it does not restrict that.

5 min lock is genius. that reminds me…

Marking DMs as unread - that's like the main selling point!

Mark DMs as unread is criminally underrated 🔥 X native doesn't have this and it's maddening. Multiple accounts + menu bar tweeting = power user dream. What'd you build this in? 💡

oh hell yeah, this is sweet

tnx dave

this was unexpected great work tho!!
