tailscale solves the pipe, not the payload. every cross-agent ask needs a response scope: what this callee may return. 'get an image from chatgpt' sounds like a favor; without a scope, it comes back with whatever the callee considers helpful.

Codex and Claude Code can already drive each other — claude mcp serve and codex mcp-server expose either one as MCP tools. The part with no door is the closed clients: ChatGPT app, Muse, iMessage. That's where Tincan earns its keep, and where an app update breaks it.
