Introducing Agents by 21st (alpha) We love Claude Code. We hate living in the CLI. So we built a calm, visual client for real code work: • works with your own Claude subscription • local work with worktrees + multiple sessions • multiple terminals per worktree • diff viewer,... show more

alpha release free to use with your own Claude subscription link 👇 👀

So this is @conductor_build ?

@conductor_build No, it works local as well, not only worktrees

@conductor_build And has much better UI 😅

Built for people who think visually - that line hits. Nice work 💪

whats the diff from this to the other 30+ projects who do the same thing?

Best UI

another day, another win by 21st 🙂↕️🙏🏻

I hadn’t tried Claude Code yet (but use Cursor actively) because I didn’t understand how to use it without a UI. Non-tech vibe coders are going to love this launch.

21ST LFG 🔥

@agupta 🎉🎉🎉

interesting.

Hey bro just so you know you advertising that people can use their own Claude subscription that’s exactly what Anthropic just banned, you can have users use an API key but not their Claude subscription just giving you a heads up

Try it first

I know it’s gonna work if you use the Claude event SDK it’s gonna pick up your Claude sub I’m saying that Anthropic they now specifically say you can’t advertise to users that they can do this, I know it’s weird and sucks but ya it’s just a matter of if they get word about someone’s software doing it

love this. code with a view, not just a blinking cursor. tried it with claude-3-opus and my brain felt less… terminal. more zen garden, less command line chaos.

looks already nice and polished ⭐️

Wow, Agents by 21st looks insanely clean, finally a beautiful desktop home for Claude that kills the CLI struggle🔥

Congrats ✨

Good luck 🚀🚀👋🚀🚀🚀🚀

ui looks cool asf

Exactly what I've needed!

Nice one

cli fatigue is real. visuals feel like a breath after too many terminal tabs. curious how it handles big diffs—sometimes mine look like abstract art.

I hate terminal as well and I believe this one is really useful for non tech founders! Keep building!

the visual layer thing is legit. having something that shows what's actually running changes how fast you catch issues

Amazing work! Do you plan to support Codex or OpenCode as well?

I don't get it. Why would y'all ship something like that 30 other tools already do and ignore the one differentiator that you actually have. How does this not have great UI / UX interaction / Design capabilities?

try @zeddotdev

@zeddotdev I don’t like it`s UI

Oh mad! How does this work with hardnesses like “superclaude” and others that hook into the Claude CLI to enhance the abilities and skills etc of Claude

It basically just renders UI for claude code cli. All your local skills and hooks should work with it, but we haven’t tested hooks yet.

That's a nice tool. Considering the CLI limitations it has great potential I hope Anthropic won't ban it like the other third-party clients though 🫣

this sounds really interesting, love the focus on making coding more visual. as someone who’s been frustrated with CLI too, this could change the game. I bet First100 could benefit from a calm interface like this for its marketing efforts. excited to see how it evolves!

Love this direction! Visual calm + powerful workflows is exactly what AI coding needs. The multi-session + worktree support looks perfect for parallel work. Excited to see where you take it! 🔥

CLI is the best, but if you want the best of both worlds, and native performance, you should try

The calm, visual client angle resonates, especially with worktrees and multiple terminals per worktree. Curious how you’re thinking about guardrails for long running sessions so people don’t end up with 10 divergent agent branches of the same repo.

Does it work with Codex?

do i just throw away Cursor now?
