first, it’s cheaper than popular offers by at least a factor 5 at equal specs (4vCPU, 8gb) as devs run more agents, longer, on beefier machines, the bill climbs and the margins of providers show we're a small team, we spent monthes building on Hetzner which is quite affordable

second, sandboxes are often too setup heavy to use box is all the opposite - spin up a box in just one command - lean API surface - comes with everything included for most types of work - dead easy to add multiple repos, scripts, secrets - baked-in hardening

that looks very good! but genuine question, what is wrong with docker? doesn’t have specific tools? or too difficult for agents?

just to try run docker inside docker already and it's a pain a lot of stuff doesn't work inside a container like docker the way agents, developers and advanced workflows expect it

we only use vCPU stuff when comparing against competitors coz sadly they count it like that on our landing page we try to avoid that, lmk if you find it still quite noisy
