The real test for personal agents will be trust, boundaries, and handoff. Users will not just ask “can it act for me?” they’ll ask whether it understands context, knows when not to act, and gives them enough control to rely on it.

yeah proactive 24/7 is the part most agent demos quietly skip. ran our triage agent on a schedule briefly and it kept spamming the same incident every hour, switched to signal-triggered only. curious how spark handles the backoff problem

Allowed apps are the first screen I’d check. If it’s managing my digital life, I want the task list and off switch right there.

This is deeply unfair. Having a daily limit of only 33 messages for a Pro model is absurd. A basic prompt shouldn't deplete 3% of my quota. If we aren't reverted back to the previous usage limits before this ridiculous restriction, I will permanently switch to OpenAl

A 24/7 proactive agent that surfaces what you didn't know to ask changes the whole model — from pull to push. The key challenge is calibration. It has to build an accurate model of what matters to you vs. what's just noise. Too many interruptions and it becomes friction. Too few and it's no different from search. Getting signal-to-noise right in personal AI is basically the whole product.

“24/7 proactive” sounds great until it’s 3am and your agent is confidently doing the wrong thing. The whole product lives or dies on permissions + audit logs + a real off switch. The best agent behavior is often doing nothing.
