Compute Offchain, Verify Onchain DeepWorm simulates the worm's neural networks off chain in a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) on the @MarlinProtocol network and verifies attestations provided by the TEE on @HyperliquidX chain. The worm's architecture is permissionless, allowing any untrusted party to host the worm enclave and attest to its enclave key.

What makes the worm move? The worm requires environmental inputs in order for its muscles to react. These inputs trigger certain sensory neurons of the worm which in turn activate its nervous system. The current iteration uses the $WORM token price as the stimulus for triggering the worm's neurons responsible for its movement. The worm simulation directly reads the $WORM token price using @JupiterExchange Price API. Chemotaxis or NoseTouch are repeatedly triggered in a loop with an 8:2 probability, activating the worm's sensory neurons to determine its final movement.

How to interact with the worm? The worm posts transactions signed within the TEE to a state contract on Hyperliquid EVM testnet. It posts its state data, including the worm's relative position, its muscles' latest values, and the price input that made it react. These transactions are signed by the enclave key to prove that the state updates are originating from an authorized enclave. External smart contracts or dApps can read state information from the state contract to build on top of the worm. Furthermore, the enclave ( exposes endpoints for web2 apps to directly query state data.
