Introducing Inbox Zero Mail. The open-source Superhuman alternative. - Fast and keyboard-first - Unified inbox across Gmail and Outlook - Split inboxes - AI categorization and drafts - Bulk unsubscribe - Team collaboration Runs on web, desktop, and native iOS. Free to use. AI is $20/mo, half Superhuman’s price.... Open source, so you can self-host for free too. This isn't an overnight vibe-coded project. I've been running Inbox Zero for 3 years: 12k GitHub stars, 25k+ sign-ups, and enterprise customers. Until today, Inbox Zero was an AI assistant for Gmail and Outlook. It still is. But now we have our own email app too. We're SOC 2 compliant, and have undergone multiple pentests, including recent ones from OpenAI and Snyk using unreleased cyber models. Try it:show more

👏

thanks!!

opensource??? count me in

yes yes

this looks awesome!

thanks!

Let's go

how does the split inbox feature work?

Lets you group emails by type. Makes it super easy to archive all newsletters or notifications for example

gmail and outlook in one process, or separate sync workers?

the security work is a pretty important detail here, love it :))

thankss!!

OPen sourse is the best you can see on the market these days

Open source, that's great

What does self-hosting it take, and how much memory does it idle at?

Depends on your setup. But idle shouldn't be too heavy The desktop app running on my machine right now sitting at 200MB RAM usage can also help

finally an open source and an affordable version :)

🥳🥳🥳🥳

🙏🙏

This looks solid! Congrats on the launch

I would love to seeing more open-source alternatives to expensive SaaS tools.

lfgg!

coming from the boat this means a lot 🛳️

Open-source and half the price of Superhuman sounds great. The keyboard shortcuts and AI drafts look useful.

I think it will be a very useful tool for my work

self-hosting for free is wild

impressive benchmarks

12k stars is a green flag

🟩

great project 🎉

Open source + free to use + AI for half the price of Superhuman? Email just got a lot more competitive 👀

Open source and half the cost That’s impressive

ngl superhuman is overpriced

Free to use, open source, and half the price for AI. This is a pretty compelling alternative.

let's goo!!!

thank you!

Awesome work! 👏

thanks for the support!!

congrats on shipping this. the self host option is the part that stands out to me, most ai email tools want all your mail sitting on their servers and this one lets you keep it on your own.
