Introducing Kombai, the first AI agent built for frontend development. Kombai vastly outperforms SOTA models + generic agents in real-world benchmarks. Watch it add a complex new feature to an OSS codebase with 500K+ lines of code. More use cases and links in comments

Watch it build a website-builder from scratch - in VS Code, using a custom tech stack. Also works on cursor/ Windsurf. Try it at

Watch it build a beautiful website with data from a real CMS - using Figma and text inputs. Btw, it can also refactor your code and build smaller components. 🙂

We have also open-sourced the dataset that anyone can use to benchmark agents for complex FE tasks. If there are enough takers, we'd also like to build a well-maintained, public test bench in the future.

I don't think i'd ever pay for Bolt/Lovable/V0 again. Kombai is the frontend agent that's going to live in my cursor from now on.

Thanks for the kind words. To be fair, though, we feel like we are solving a different problem than Bolt/ Lovable/ V0. They are helping you quickly build prototypes. Our goal is to help you build production frontends :-)

If this agent works like the video and benchmarks, it will be the best AI coding agent so far to solve such a great use case.

It does, I promise! :-)

Any tips on how to convince my ceo to get a subscription for me?

haha. hit me up if you think I could persuade him over a 1:1 demo :-) Or maybe, we could make spring make the dog-eyes at him?

If this is true, then Kombai (frontend) + Cursor setup is going to be Insane for devs🔥🔥🔥

yes! lots of our early users use us with cursor. Cursor for autocomplete + backend. Kombai for the Frontend

It's impressive, I loved it 👏🏽

Wow! This is a game changer

Thanks, Mari! We hope to add value to all backend devs who might hate writing CSS! :-)

Yes please we want that 🥹🙌

Interesting product. I’m going to try it out but I’m wondering how credits work. If I was starting from a new product, how quick am I running out of the pro credits?

@thisismichael13 Most our early users were able to do 5-8 complex tasks with the free tier alone. So we are hoping the pro-tier should accommodate most devs' usage for a month. but if you run out of pro-credits in a month, please hit me up and we'd make it work better for you

Thanks for letting me know. I’m going to try it out today.

I had beta access of kombai , and this is one of the best products I used like no hallucinations and full stack development , will share soon what I created with it

Thanks Chetas! Appreciate your support!

This is truly impressive. 🔥 Kombai is quickly becoming the go-to benchmark for evaluating frontend agents. Can’t wait to test the dataset and see how others perform on real-world use cases. 👀👏

I don't know anything about frontend but boy their example projects actually work 😜 @lovable

@lovable haha! thanks for noticing it! :-)

@theo

It’s been amazing to see all the love from you folks! All the developer love has our hearts, and our TPMs run dangerously close to their limits. We’re hustling to respond to all your emails, DM's, and feedback. Thanks for riding it out with us.

This is a blessing for those who hate coding frontend like me (but not smart enough to prompt cursor correctly lol)

Great job! Congrats on the launch! The agent's capabilities will greatly speed up frontend workflows, marking a major industry advancement.

This seems really impressive. Eager to get my hands on it!👾🤘 @sudheersingh12

@sudheersingh12 We are publicly available from today on VS code/ cursor/ windsurf. Also has a launch-week special, generous free tier for y'll to try!

I've been advocating lovable + cursor for UI for a while now. This might even be better. Great going folks

Thanks Sani!

Just another great day for devs. Kombai has launched the first ever frontend agent that works way better than Claude or Gemini.

The first coding agent for frontend 🚀 'Use case specific agents' is the way going forward if we want agents to excel at coding.

I never imagined $20/mon would give me a frontend dev who knows 30 frameworks. Good job @Kombaico

Really nice share. Thank you

Already thinking of the side projects this could rescue.

- in case you need some starter ideas...

Say hello to @kombaico, an AI agent purpose built for complex frontend tasks :) Call it bias, but Cursor & Kombai has been my default duo of choice.

Just woke up to another coding agent 🥱 But this time, for front end

Haha! Fair enough, with all the AI coding launches going on every week. But hopefully, you haven't come across another Frontend specialist agent, right?

Impressive launch in AI coding

Thanks for noticing us, Dhaval! just getting started 🤞

I really love the concepts and icon!

@gaishi_narou Thanks, Oikon! Great to hear from early access users like you

Yeah thank you. I’m enjoy using Kombai right now.

Great job, guys 🔥

Thank you!

Damn! This is really cool!

Crazzy performance on benchmarks !!

Thanks, Fakhr!

Would definitely try it out 🤞🏽

Looking forward to your feedback already :-)

good Launch.. Will be checking them out

Ngl it’d help closing out tasks fasterr

Good stuff guys.

Amazed that it works on such a large codebase. Good stuff team!

Thanks, Brendan! This is not nearly the largest codebase Kombai has worked on last week. But this was the only OSS one that we could show in the demo :-)

@Kombaico Wohoo! Can’t wait to try it out!

@Kombaico Thanks @shrutikapoor08 ! Appreciate your support & feedback!

Good luck with your launch 🔥🔥🔥

Thanks @FrancescoCiull4 Love what you do with Daily dev & the react ecosystem!
