Introducing Lobstack: Simplifying AI Deployment and Management For the past month, I’ve been building something I kept running into myself. Everone knows by now that OpenClaw is powerful. BUT, deploying it shouldn’t require DevOps. Lobstack provisions a dedicated server for you and installs OpenClaw automatically — one click, and...

Yes, AES-256-GCM. If scales, move to DEKs The docs are amazing. Great work.

@steipete How does that work? Wouldn't the hosted openclaw instance need the unencrypted data at some point autonomously which means the decryption keys exist server side/under your control and so you technically have access.

Brandon M. Crenshaw's profile picture
Brandon M. Crenshaw8 months ago

Great question. The instance would only need patches of the data, but key would be having a bridge of sort that decrypts the data somewhat like a mixer would. Bridge <—> API signed with HMAC-SHA256 (prevents tampering) Per agent rotating tokens instead of a static agent API Config on a dedicated server encrypted with that agent specific key Message content, memory values, API keys are all encrypted before INSERT So even a full DB dump reveals nothing

@shantanugoel @steipete It sounds like you are vibing your way into this conversation instead of stopping for a second to think about the original question. If you hold the keys you have access to your clients' secrets.

deploying it takes asking claude code "hey set up openclaw for me" i did it a month ago when there was zero onboarding

Is it just me or are ToS and Privacy Policy not available? Links on start and login page do not work for me.

It’s crazy how many times I’ve seen this exact project pop up over and over again under similar names I think it’s the first idea most developers had right when they saw openclaw (I almost built one myself)

Who needs devops when we just ask claude code to set it up for us?

Bro, it says it takes 2 to 4 minutes to create an agent. Mine’s been trying to provision for over an hour. Also, there’s no cancel button so you have me locked in for monthly payments without a way to unsubscribe.

Omg the fifth “easy button for openclaw” ive seen this week. So tired of this. How many more copies of the same idea will we see.

The real unlock isn't better agents; it's making them boring to deploy

The Lobstack approach to $29 support agents vs human overhead is a great example of where AI agents actually add deterministic value to a business. Reducing that 80% noise efficiently is the real win.

the deployemnt pain is the #1 reason openclaw adoption is stuck at tech bros if you solve this for normies youre sitting on a massive market watching this closely

Agreed. Just got to make sure server routes can scale for cloud runners, then if it proves concept we will launch a desktop/mobile app for Windows + IOS + Linux + Android

Is each user sandboxed? And how do you deal with updates?

Brandon M. Crenshaw's profile picture
Brandon M. Crenshaw8 months ago

Yes. Updates are seamless, shouldn’t effect any user unless it is server related maintenance.

Cool! Curious what did you find people mostly using it for? I find the consumer use cases are pretty low, and it’s better for b2b. Personally didn’t reach out to any but businesses appear more eager to experiment with new tools.

One huge issue is a reliable headless browser experience. After testing on server stacks like this we found every option a lot less reliable than a real browser. Does your service have a reliable solution to this?

If you can’t figure out how to natively set up open claw, you shouldn’t be using it. You’re just waiting to get screwed from the security perspective.

BREAKING! Introducing Plus One: A hosted OpenClaw🦞 that lives in your Slack and comes pre-loaded with Every 📧's best tools, skills, and workflows. Set it up in one click, and use your ChatGPT subscription (or any other API key.) Bring your Plus One to work: Connected to the Every 📧 ecosystem Plus Ones automatically use Every 📧's agent-native apps, no setup required: - Cora for searching, sending, and managing email - Spiral for great writing in your voice - Proof ( for agent-native document editing Custom skills and workflows we use and love Plus Ones come pre-loaded with skills and workflows we use ourselves Every 📧 —some we've made, and some we think are great. - Content digest—summarizes the publications you read, starting with Every 📧 - Daily brief—your day's schedule and to-dos sent to you each morning - Animate—turn any static screenshot into an animation with Remotion - Frontend—Anthropic's front-end skill (which we use all the time!) We also make it fast to connect Google, Notion, Github, and more to your Plus One. Our goal is to give you a capable AI coworker right away, not a vanilla OpenClaw that you have to teach from scratch. Why we built Plus One OpenClaw🦞 has changed the way we work at Every. We effectively have a parallel org chart of AI coworkers, each with a name, a manager, and real responsibilities. Because of them our workflows are completely different—our company is different—and we would never go back. But getting here has been hard. Claws require a significant amount of manual setup and require a dedicated machine—like a Mac Mini—running 24/7 to stay responsive. We have learned that the hard part of Claws is the infrastructure around them—the hosting, the integrations, the skills, and the ongoing care. We’ve made them work great for our team, and we want to share everything we’ve learned with you. We're letting in 20 people a week to start, and scaling invites quickly from there. Every 📧 subscribers get priority. Bring your Plus One to work:
