I am already a dev and leveraging AI to build faster, but 3 years ago i would build for 50k€ an application now it’s 7k€. the cost of building a application will become so low…i would have better chance to make a lot of money with a new job that AI cannot replace. Now devs are becoming labor worker or you have to be in the top 1%.

This isn’t the backend revolution we needed! Interesting approach, but this feels more like an embedded Supabase wrapper than true backend innovation. The core issue is extensibility - I can’t extend backend functionality or export code for self-hosting, which creates vendor lock-in. Base44 (bootstrapped by one person) offers similar AI app generation with same backend control. While this is helpful for rapid prototyping and simple CRUD apps, calling it a ‘real backend’ is misleading when it’s essentially managed Supabase with limited customization. Am I missing something here? Why reinvent Supabase when the original already provides the flexibility developers need? This seems like a step backward for anyone building beyond basic MVPs.
