Introducing MorphoHDL, a minimal language prototype for growing boolean circuits! Early this year I wanted to design a size-agnostic graph rewrite rule system that could build functional boolean circuits. This last year and a half has been quite a challenging and equally awesome time. I’ve faced a lot of backlash for what I sing about, which in some ways has set me back, but in many other ways has opened incredible new doors. I had no idea there were so many of us who felt the same way. We’re fed up with much of what’s going on in the world. The systems that don’t serve us but pretend to. The institutions that rob us and keep us dependent. But what has been so beautiful is discovering how many of us feel this together and genuinely want to create a future that uplifts and serves humanity, and each other. There are so many people working for good, working for the light. I hope the music and art I make can contribute to that in a great way. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for having my back. I have yours too.

This is not just a win, but a reminder of what consistent effort can actually turn into. few years ago I didn’t have a clear direction. I just knew I wanted more. More than where I was, more than what I was seeing, more than what felt possible at the time. So I started trying things. Failing quietly, learning, starting again. No big announcements, no validation, just me showing up every day and figuring it out as I went. At first my only goal was simple. Just get better, earn something, prove to myself that I could actually make this work. And I did. But like most people, there were moments where it started to feel like that was enough, like I could slow down a bit. That mindset is dangerous. Because the moment you tell yourself this is okay, you stop pushing. And when you stop pushing, you stop growing. I had to change that. I shifted my focus. I stopped just trying to get by and started building something real. I leaned into Web3, started putting myself out there, connecting with people and creating opportunities instead of waiting for them. And that changed everything. It made me realize something. A lot of people don’t lack motivation. They’ve just outgrown their reason. When your goals are too small, your effort becomes small. When your vision expands, your actions follow. Right now I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m far from where I started and that gap means everything to me. So I’m raising the standard again. Bigger goals, more visibility, building things that actually matter and not getting comfortable too early. If you’ve been part of my journey in any way, I appreciate you. If your direction feels small, it’s probably time to expand it. The bigger the life you want, the bigger the standard you need. Web3 did this, God did this, see you at the top 💙🦅

🐰 more than thinking that people misunderstood me, i just wondered, “why do people hate on each other that much? why go to the trouble of making up lies just to hate?” that’s what i thought, so i thought that sharing my thoughts right away back then could be an action seen as pouring oil on fire. so i thought that i should talk about when the right time came. when i went for the biodance event, the fans came and i had a fansign. while doing the fansign, a fan came and asked me, “doyoungie kept telling us to dream a lot during the yours concert. what is your dream, doyoungie?” but for me really, there were people who took it as a joke, but i really hope that everyone can get along well, peacefully. that they can listen to each other’s reasons, and try to understand each other’s circumstances. i hope that everyone can get along well with that kind of relationship. i really hope that /everyone/ can be like that. and i hope that the company, me, and czennies can get along well like that too! that’s why i said that (during the fansign). anyway, you may have complaints about the company, like for a plan or something like that. you may also have complaints about me, we could be unsatisfied with each other over various things. but i think it would be good if you could think, “there must be some reason/circumstances for this.” so rather than asking you to not hate, i just hope that all of you can get along well without any discomfort. that’s just my dream, and i don’t have any intention of forcing it upon anyone.

Seokjin, you can come to us any way u like 🥺 🐹So yesterday, I really wanted to post something right at midnight, but I was not sure how to put it into words. So I just wrote something with a heart full of gratitude. I did. But then, the way I feel is that I always end up writing something that just conveys my gratitude to you all, and ah… I actually wish I could talk to you in a lighter and more casual way, but I feel like I haven’t really been able to, and I find that a bit disappointing/sad. It feels like I always come across too serious (than I meant to be). I want to be lighter and more easygoing with you, not approaching you in a heavy, formal way, but rather in a friendly and casual way. But these days, even when I try something lighthearted, there have been various things going on and with the group activities and everything and so….. So it feels like the sense of closeness has become a bit distant. I’ll try harder to connect with you in a warmer and more approachable way.

A little throwback story tonight 🌙.. in 2008 I was to give one of my first keynote speeches in NYC but the sound system broke ( they were smaller events back then 😂). But I didn’t want to let everyone down so I told everyone to go outside and I gave the speech on the side of the street in nyc 🏙️ .. then I did Q&A and this came up … too many of you are looking for “the moment” the “tipping point” people thought I had “made it” in 2008 … 16 years ago … and yet I didn’t think I had even started .. I don’t feel I’ve started as I type this .. to me my personal and professional journey is a forever game and I’m not looking for a breakthrough moment or the stats to show me the way .. I’m focused on building .. brick 🧱by brick 🧱 … day by day I build VaynerMedia and VeeFriends and everything else I am associated with .. and that’s how it will always be ❤️ share this with a kid who has a dream 💭

[wip] growing organisms using hypergraph rewriting I'm exploring generating organisms using string forces and I was wondering about which class of algorithms could be used to generalize the growth of such structures. I wanted a system which can produce a wide variety of outputs, while allowing for stable and controlled growth. That's when I thought about Stephen Wolfram (yes again) Physics Project, which proposes to explore a solution to the fundamental theory of physics using a hypergraph rewriting system ( TLDR; Growth of graphs using simple permutation rules. It's similar to cellular automata but for graphs. Could be what I'm looking for. I started to experiment with this system to grow my organisms, and it's definitely a promising approach! Below is a video of the following rules applied to an initial {{0,0},{0,0}} graph: rand() {{x,y},{x,w},{y,w},{z,w}} : {{x,y},{x,z}}->{{x,w},{y,w},{z,w}} There's a lot of areas to improve this exploration, notably: - localization of rules (instead of applying a same rule to the whole system, let each node have its own rules) - spawn control rules (when a new node is created, a rule can define which rules will be applied to such node) - mutation rules (rules which alter rules of adjacent nodes) - conditional rules (many rules can be attached to a node, the one being executed subject to localized conditions) Super exciting, will certainly be the basis of my next project.

#SEONGHWA about making memories in Europe 🥹 ⭐️: The UK is much nicer than I thought. My memories of this country were usually just from coming here on tour but the more I come, the more my memories seem to get nicer. Same with Paris, same with the UK and well, Spain too. Probably it’s like that for all countries, really. Anyway, maybe it’s because I’m getting familiar with them. I’m turning each one into a good memory. Ease? Maybe I’ve gained some ease too. When I first went to Paris I wasn’t feeling well physically so I couldn’t go see things. But as time passed, like, on the last night (this time) I saw the Eiffel Tower and even though I’ve seen it many times, I realized it feels different every time I come. During this Paris schedule, the time I saw the Eiffel Tower was my favorite I think. It was the most romantic. Strangely, “I really want to go see the Eiffel Tower.” This thought came to me. Strangely. I felt like I had to go see it. Of course, taking photos there can be risky but I just really wanted to take photos at the Eiffel Tower. So after meeting Mingi and Jongho, I rushed there, saw it, and at exactly midnight it sparkles like this, you know? I saw that too. And this time in London too, I watched a really fun musical and at a big festival, as a headliner, I performed in a cool way. I like it. I really like it. #SEONGHWA #성화

Qullamaggie on The Only Way to Build Confidence in Trading “It was a combination of studying the patterns. What I did was I built a database in Evernote, which is pretty much a note-taking software. I took screenshots of all the setups before and after, both on the daily and intraday time frames, just to look at what a good setup looks like—at the start of the move or before the move, when it starts breaking out, and then a few weeks or a few months after. How does it act? I looked at all these variations, and that’s how I built the confidence. I started trading the setup myself too, and I saw some success. It felt like I was always improving. I was always learning a new variation or something new, so that’s really how I build the confidence. I say it on my stream too—like everyone should do it. Whatever setup you stumble upon and you want to trade it, backtest it. Look through hundreds if not thousands of examples of that setup, build a database, and go through that database once in a while. Just scroll through it. That’s how you memorize this. It’s all about pattern recognition really. Trading is all about pattern recognition. It could be just purely technical, and you can also combine it with fundamentals. Like I do, I also look at the theme—what’s the theme, what’s the earnings, revenues. I look at the news overall, like what’s driving the stock. So I found some similarities there too. It’s the same things that have worked for 100 years really. That’s how you build the confidence. That’s how you do it—there’s no other way.”

q. it’s an obvious question but when you came back to be in the band, it’s an interesting thing because you’re the youngest and they’ll always think of you as the youngest but you’re also a solo hitmaker. how did that affect the way that you approach things for the new album and maybe the way the other members approach things with you? 🐰: i’m just a very carefree and open person and I don’t think too much during my day-to-day unless I really have to. so when it comes to work process or choosing songs, I’ll express myself, sure, I’ll speak up and share my opinion, but I don’t stress about it. rather… well I don’t know about the others, I guess some of the members were pretty stressed but I just thought it was fun! I enjoyed it. I did what I wanted to do

“Because I think a lot of people are familiar with you know, pop stars have these alter egos on stage and then they're also a little bit potentially different behind the scenes. Can you talk about what the difference is between those two personas?” ROSÉ: I think, you know, like I started off as, my whole career started as Blackpink and I feel like it was so much fun creating this character on stage because I'm just from like Australia, like in my bedroom, but like it was so much fun creating this like pop star, like character. It was so much fun. And then I think creating my first solo album, it was my discover of like, you know, who am I? And like when I was naming the album, I really thought a lot about it. There was like options like, you know, number one girl. And then a lot of people did like, what about Rosie? And at first I was like, it seems a bit like narcissistic. I'm not sure. And then it slowly grew on me. And then, you know, just the idea of it being Rosie because Rosé has been such a big part of my life. And that's what we present ourselves as Blackpink, Blackpink Rosé. And I felt like this was very opposite. And so I noticed that it was closer to kind of introducing a different version of me, like because it combined all the stories I would talk about with my friends and family. And they call me Rosie at home. And of course, the online name that the company had made for me from at the beginning of Blackpink, I remember when it happened was like the day before they released my picture, profile picture, they were like, Rosé. And like the name got announced.

Lady Gaga reflects on her 2016 album, Joanne, and how it’s different from MAYHEM: “I think that was a hard time for some of my fans, because it felt so different from the “me” that they knew.
