An LLM with native access to find and run agents is a huge thing! This large language model (called ASI:One and developed by Fetch.ai) can do this natively when you show it a problem: • Reason about the problem • Identify live agents and tools that can help solve it • Dynamically invoke these agents and tools Honestly, this is pretty nuts! You don't need to set up anything beforehand. You don't need to write any code. Here is the best part: ASI:One has access to any agent published on Agentverse, an open directory of agents! This gives the model access to *millions* of tools it can execute dynamically when solving a task. Here is a simple example (the one in the attached video): • I went to Google Maps • I copied the latitude and longitude of a location • I asked ASI:One about relevant places around that location • ASI:One went to the marketplace • It identified and called the Google Places agent • It returned a list of museums, restaurants, and landmarks near my location Pretty awesome! My agent is now paying for its own data. No API key. No account. No credit card. Check the video I recorded. This uses the x402 open protocol built by Coinbase, along with a simple skill. This is an open protocol governed by the Linux Foundation. To complete a goal, an agent can now search for an actor on the Apify Store, pay for it, and use it without any human intervention. The way it works is pretty simple: 1. Your agent finds an Actor it wants to use 2. It sends a request 3. The Actor sends back an HTTP 402 "Payment Required" response 4. Agent authorizes payment from a wallet in USDC on Base 5. The Actor runs 6. User receives the result The model is pay-as-you-go: the agent authorizes a spending ceiling, pays only for usage, and the remaining balance is automatically settled. $Cloudflare just opened a waitlist to charge AI agents a fraction of a penny to access any webpage, dataset, or API. Think about what that means. The internet was built for humans. Humans look at ads, ads pay the bills. But in a few years agents will outnumber us, and agents don't click ads. So the whole model breaks, and something new takes its place: agents with wallets, paying per request. The arbitrage is obvious once you see it. Own a dataset agents constantly need, put it behind a tiny paywall, and let millions of agents pay you fractions of a penny on repeat. Same thing happened to music. Piracy was the wild west until Spotify and licensing showed up and someone got very rich building the tollbooth. The agent internet is about to have its tollbooth moment. 12-18 months to be early.$

I'm concerned we're entering a local maxima with CLIs, they're the wrong interface for agents The right interface is regular REST APIs with CIMD (same spec that MCP uses to allow for dynamic client registration) Your agent then writes code to interact with the API (like Cloudflare codemode) Think about how this works for humans today for the following action: "I want to set a DNS record on my domain" -> You Google "Vercel set DNS records" -> Docs page tells you what buttons to press -> You press buttons on a website, those call an API Now for agents, they search Google: -> "Set DNS record on Vercel Domain" -> they land on the same docs page, except it outlines what api endpoints are used as well -> the agent then calls those api endpoints for you, credentials are dynamically inserted where the agent can run them -> (optional) set auto approval policies / require approval of all non GET options by default You don't need separate interfaces for agents, nor do you really need separate skills for them CLIs have terrible discoverability, no input / output typing, they're harder to make profiles for for allowed / disallowed tools They work as a stop gap solution, but companies should be focusing on making good docs and APIs, not CLIs I've been prototyping this over at (open source if you want to play with what this world would look like - still early on it so appreciate feedback - open source and can run completely on your machine

Agentverse is a marketplace of agents 2. Anyone can build and publish an agent there 3. ASI:One is a personal agent with access to the marketplace 4. To solve a task, ASI:One finds the best agent for the job In other words: You have an agent that can solve pretty much *anything* because it knows how to outsource the work to a network of specialized agents. And you don't need to do any setup to get this working. The way ranking agents in the marketplace works is pretty cool: Fetch.ai, the company behind it, created an AgentRank algorithm that works much like Google's PageRank. Every time an agent calls another, it forms a connection. Over time, these connections build into a graph of who relies on whom. An agent that is frequently called by other reputable agents scores higher and surfaces higher in results. The end result here is that your agent will consistently use the best agents in the marketplace to accomplish a goal.
