We’re excited to introduce the OpenVPP Payments Network powered by $USDE ⚡ The Electric Dollar. We will be rolling out the capability starting today in phases: Phase 1 - Accounting & Settlement: Instant settlement algorithms detect device energy usage and can automatically send $USDE to users as compensation for utility programs. Phase 2 - Banking Integration: Consumers can cash out $USDE to their bank account via fiat off-ramp. Utilities can buy $USDE and $OVPP using fiat on-ramps. Phase 3 - Stablecoin: The final vision for $USDE is to become a dollar backed and fully compliant stablecoin designed specifically for the global electric industry. Together, this is the foundation for the real-time energy economy. The Internet of Energy. 🌐

OpenVPP's top priority is to democratize clean energy access while providing grid operators flexible capacity during the most critical of times. Electric vehicles are ~100 kWh mini power plants on wheels yet to truly be harnessed at scale by electric utilities. Imagine a distribution feeder line that's ripe for an upgrade. With OpenVPP World, a grid operator can create a customer programs for prosumers to target those areas to support their local grids. $OVPP The Internet of Energy Keeps Building.

We're excited to announce our Official Partnership with Rainforest Automation on the future of the connected grid. 🌎Read the Official Partnership on LinkedIn: For the past 16 years, Rainforest Automation has provided metering, device management, and control solutions to the Power & Utilities industry. With over 100,000 endpoints deployed globally their platform manages energy assets such as Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) and Building Automation Systems (BAS). In our partnership discussion with Co-Founder & CEO, Chris Tumpach, we discussed how adding OpenVPP's Digital Asset Payment Rails directly to the Rainforest platform could enable the next wave of utility innovation — one in which direct to device connectivity, revenue grade metering, and instantaneous settlement are brought together to deliver next experiences and opportunities to their customer base. Rainforest serves electric utilities globally for both commercial, industrial, and residential Demand Response (DR) customer programs.

OpenVPP World will be officially unveiled at our Energy Partner’s Flagship Conference this coming October. For the first time in history, Distribution Service Providers can aggregate, dispatch, and instantaneously settle Gigawatts of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) entirely on-chain, powered by ERC-721 and 1155 based Smart Contracts. This unlocks the path to multi-hundred-million-dollar SaaS contracts with global distribution utilities. A trillion-dollar market that is finally now moving on-chain. Witness the revolution: $OVPP The Internet of Energy is Here.

Electric grid providers and operators can finally offer their end customer modernized experiences, in addition to offering gamified demand response programs. Increasing flexible capacity, customer engagement, and overall program retention by including a gamified view into local virtual power plants. Prosumers can then compete with their behind the meter assets such as EVs, smart thermostats, batteries and more to earn from the overall reward pot for the event holdings. Privacy first by design as participant premises are anonymized within a 5-10 mile radius in addition to their earnings represented by their wallet addresses. The fleet operator + consumer apps is currently being demonstrated to a handful of select global electric utilities, retail electric providers, and community choice aggregators via our IP license agreement with Grid Rails and will be publicly available shortly via our World dApp to all stakers and tokenized energy asset owners powering the OpenVPP network: 🌐 $OVPP The Internet of Energy.

A Peek into OpenVPP’s Utility-Sponsored Demand Response Program on our private testnet - Flexible Fleet EV Chargers across North America. Level 2 chargers deliver 7–19 kW per port, while high-power DC fast chargers like Tesla can reach up to 350 kW. With OpenVPP, we’re building a Unified Digital Payments Network for Fleet Charging, enabling prosumers to: 1. Pay for charging anywhere using their utility billing account. 2. Allow Grid Operators to aggregate and dispatch fleet chargers. 3. Earn rewards in $OVPP or stablecoins by participating in utility-sponsored demand response programs, simply by pausing charging during peak demand periods. Looking ahead, in October 2025 we’ll present OpenVPP World alongside our Multi-Billion-Dollar NYSE-Listed energy partner at their flagship conference. We’re excited to reveal our commercial partnership soon. The Internet of Energy.

Introducing OpenVPP’s Open Energy Alliance (OEA): A collaborative initiative designed for Power & Utility Providers and smart energy OEMs driving the future of distributed energy systems. The OEA’s mission is to build an open, interoperable ecosystem that connects OEMs of strategic Behind-The-Meter dispatchable asset classes across: ☀️🔋Solar and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) 🚗⚡️Electric Vehicles (EVs) 🔥❄️Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Through the OEA framework, these devices operate cohesively within Open Virtual Power Plants (OVPPs). Each device, whether it is a home battery, an EV, or a thermostat, communicates through a shared digital layer that enables aggregated control, load balancing, and coordinated energy dispatch. This interoperability transforms millions of distributed assets into flexible grid resources that can respond dynamically to demand, pricing, and renewable generation conditions. The Open Energy Alliance is more than a platform, it is a movement. We are creating an open standard for interoperability across the energy industry, bringing together innovators, OEMs, and utilities to accelerate the clean energy transition. $OVPP The Internet of Energy.
