So basically it does what the Sig Sauer M7/ M8 can't do and only requires the ARMY to swap the upper receivers on their current issue M4's rather than buying a new, unproven piece of junk that is heavier, less reliable and produces 4 MOA accuracy at best...

You can hit 2700fps using TAC powder with a 77gr projectile and not be at max load. The ammo is not that impressive. Shooting MOA at 800 yards is.

So, to work reliably/long term it needs a specific barrel, bolt (carrier too likely), gas block, gas tube maybe, buffer probably, and then the optics will need to be adjusted accordingly. Where does this excel over just using a specialized cartridge at this point?
