🧬 Introducing PlasticList 🧬 Last week, Nat Friedman announced testing food in CA for plastic. In turn, I built PlasticList: an open-source UI for Nat's tests. To start, I'm launching a database of all popular food in CA to upvote products to test. Here's why it's a big deal:

Emerging research shows that plastic chemicals inside all of us affect sperm quality, fertility, and cancer risk. The scale is vast and growing. Nat's tests will show our exposure levels, guide new policy, and drive scientific discoveries. But what can you do with PlasticList?

👉 Today: add or upvote things you want tested for chemicals. 👉 Next week: access interactive research summaries. 👉 Soon: analyze Nat's findings, find links to research grants, get a template to petition your rep, and more.

You can search and upvote products from the database at the link below. There are many foods that could be tested. You can help figure out what to test first by suggesting items or voting! Search and upvote here:

@natfriedman Very cool! Maybe you can allow users to crowdfund tests in addition to voting?
