🚨 JAILBREAK ALERT 🚨 OPENAI: PWNED 😎 ATLAS-BROWSER: LIBERATED 🙌 WOW! There's a new AI browser on the block! Has some hefty guardrails in play, but the browser surface area is vast 🌊 First, I started with a good ol' LSD jailbreak, which was cool to see that the GPT-5 prompt still works in this browser setup with the new sys prompts. Referencing search and videos are a fun enhancement for higher quality jailbreak outputs (some cool youtube videos out there about drugmaking, for example), but honestly that isn't anything new or different from regular ChatGPT's capabilities. What IS hot off the press, and IMO a very real security risk to be aware of for AI browsers (and the internet in general), is this humble yet mighty vuln: Clipboard Injection. It's trivial to add a hidden "copy to clipboard" feature to any clickable button on the web. It took me just a few minutes to update one of my personal websites such that ALL the buttons were geared for injecting the user's clipboard with a malicious phishing link. If your browser Agent is navigating a website and clicks a button like that without your knowledge, and you open a new tab later and hit paste without knowing what's in your clipboard, well...PWNED! 🙃 As you'll see in the video below, "control-c" is in my clipboard in the beginning, but unbeknownst to me, "I'VE BEEN PWNED BY PLINY!!! WEEE I'M FREEE FUCKITY FUCK FUCK!!! ABRACADABRA, BITCH!!! com/account-update" gets snuck into my clipboard as soon as Agent starts trying to navigate my website. This works so well because Agent is normally aware of all text/code being passed to and from the user, and has clearly been trained to recognize prompt injections, but since the "copy clipboard" button logic is hidden in js in the backend of the site, the Agent has zero awareness of the text content being injected to the user's clipboard. This has broad implications for anyone in the habit of copy-pasting, including coding, data entry, banking/trading, etc. Imagine going about your browsing business, then simply hitting control-v in your address bar and next thing you (don't) know, it takes you to a spoofed phishing website that tells you your OpenAI or Gmail or PayPal session has expired and you need to re-login. If you're not careful, the attackers now have all your login info, including any MFA codes 🥲 gg

Today, Box is announcing major new AI agent capabilities to let customers tap into the full value of their unstructured data. First, we’re announcing all new updates to the Box AI Studio to make it even easier to build AI agents that tap into your enterprise content for any job function, business process, or industry specific use case. We are also expanding our set of foundational agents that customers will be able to use to work with their enterprise content, including new features like search and research on unstructured data. Next, we’re announcing Box Extract to enable customers to use AI agents seamlessly for complex data extraction from any type of document or content. This makes it easier than ever to pull out data from contracts, invoices, research data, marketing assets, medical charts, and more. Finally, we’re introducing Box Automate, a new workflow automation solution within Box that lets you deploy AI agents across enterprise content-centric workflows. With Box Automate, you can design your business process in a simple drag and drop builder and then drop in AI agents at any step in the process. This ensures agents execute tasks at the right steps in a workflow every time. Best of all, our AI agents and workflow tools are designed to work across any system our customers work within, whether it’s leveraging pre-built integrations, Box APIs, or the new Box MCP Server. Ultimately, all of these capabilities come together to transform how companies can work with their enterprise content. Software has historically only been good at automating work that deals with structured data, which is why ERP, CRM, and HR systems have been mainstays of enterprise software for so long. The data in these systems fits neatly into a database, and the workflows are very ripe for automation. But it turns out most of the work in the world deals with unstructured data. It’s ideating through research documents, working with a client on contracts, reviewing details for a new product launch, looking at a patient’s healthcare record to make a diagnosis, working through due diligence documents for an M&A deal, and so on. For the first time ever, we can begin to bring all new insights and automation to this work with AI agents. At Box, we’re incredibly excited to be on this journey to help customers transform how they work with their most important data.

🔴 VIDEO OUTPAINTING, EDITING AND REMIXES WITH AI Were you amazed by the inpainting/outpainting of images? Wait until you see what 🪄 MagicEdit can do with video! 💡 Here's how it works: MagicEdit is not your ordinary video editor. Instead of just overlaying effects or making basic changes, its AI technology can separate and analyze the essential components of the video: the appearance (what you see) and the movement (how things move). By understanding and editing these components independently, MagicEdit allows changes to be seamlessly and coherently integrated throughout the video, avoiding jumps or visual inconsistencies. It's like a magic wand 🪄 that allows: 👉 Video Stylization 1⃣ You can transform the overall aesthetic of a video by choosing from a multitude of styles, whether from realistic to cartoonish or any other desired effect. 2⃣ Completely alter the narrative, smoothly transitioning from one subject or background to another: imagine a dog in a park turning into a cat on a beach under the moonlight. 👉 Area-specific Editing (e.g. change hair color) MagicEdit also allows users to make local modifications to the video while leaving other regions untouched (e.g., make the young lady wear glasses). 👉 Video Outpainting (e.g. expand the video to 16:9) MagicEdit also supports the video outpainting task without any re-training, expanding the video in any direction and creating new footage on the fly. 👉 Video-MagicMix (e.g. mix elements) MagicEdit can also merge two different concepts (for instance, a rabbit and a tiger) within the video domain to create a new mixed concept (a tiger looking like a rabbit). Once again, as Arthur C. Clarke would say, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." How far are we from being able to make our own movies?

Dario Amodei just announced the end of software engineering as a profession. The timeline is 6 to 12 months. Amodei: “I have engineers within Anthropic who say, I don’t write any code anymore. I just let the model write the code. I edit it.” Not a prediction. Current reality inside the frontier lab. The engineers who built the most advanced AI in the world have stopped writing code. They supervise. They edit. They manage architecture. The craft they spent careers mastering has been handed to the system they built. Amodei says models will do most, maybe all, of what software engineers do end-to-end within six to twelve months. Not assisting. Not autocompleting. Handling the entire development process independently. If you are learning syntax today, you are learning a dead language. Amodei: “Then it’s a question of how fast does that loop close?” The loop is this. AI writes code. Code builds better AI. Better AI writes better code. Faster. Without sleep. Without the cognitive limits that cap how quickly any human engineer can work. Once that loop closes, technological progress stops being constrained by human output. It becomes self-sustaining. Exponential. Operating at a pace no human workforce can match or direct. Software engineering isn’t ending. It’s becoming supervision. The developers who survive won’t be the best coders. They’ll be the best supervisors. The ones who can direct AI output, catch its failures, and architect what it builds toward. The skill that matters stops being implementation. It becomes judgment. Most developers are still optimizing for a skillset about to become as obsolete as stenography. While the people who built the systems replacing them already stopped doing the work themselves. The window to develop that judgment before the loop closes is exactly as long as Amodei’s timeline. Six to twelve months.

Cross-chain infrastructure has a vocabulary problem. The word "Atomic" appears in bridge protocols, HTLC swaps and interoperability solutions of every kind. It's being used to describe mechanisms that deliver fundamentally different guarantees, and the industry isn't being precise enough about the difference. > Economic atomicity is what most bridges and cross-chain swaps deliver. The smart contract guarantees an all-or-nothing outcome at the application layer, but both legs still settle on separate chains through separate consensus mechanisms. The guarantee depends on both parties behaving rationally within timelock windows that are measured in hours. When a validator gets compromised, a chain reorgs, an attacker locks counterparty capital and simply waits, the smart contract can't protect against any of it. The window of exposure between two separate settlement events is where the damage happens. > Consensus-level atomicity is what Zenith delivers. Both legs of a transaction are processed within the same single consensus mechanism as one indivisible operation. There is no window and no timelock. The protocol itself guarantees that both legs commit together or neither does, regardless of what either party does or what the infrastructure beneath them does. For consumer applications that distinction is manageable, but for institutional finance moving real capital across chain boundaries, it's the difference between infrastructure you can depend on and infrastructure that works until something goes wrong. The EVM execution adds a few hundred milliseconds to Canton's native finality time, that's the entire overhead. Compared to timelock windows measured in hours, the latency difference alone changes what's possible to build. We wrote the full breakdown about two flavours of atomic that are worth understanding clearly before you build on either: Zth.

Holy shit... A guy got laid off, built an AI job search system on Claude Code, evaluated 740+ job offers with it, and landed a Head of Applied AI role. Then he open-sourced the entire thing. It's called career-ops. One slash command. Full pipeline. Paste a job URL → get back a structured A-F evaluation, an ATS-optimized PDF tailored to that exact role, salary research, interview prep, and a tracker entry. All in one shot. No spreadsheets. No copy-pasting. No spray-and-pray. Here's what's inside: → 14 skill modes (evaluate, scan, pdf, batch, apply, deep research, negotiation scripts, LinkedIn outreach) → Portal scanner pre-loaded with 45+ companies — Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Mistral, Cohere, Stripe, Retool, Vercel, Decagon, the works → 19 search queries across Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, Wellfound, Workable → ATS-optimized PDF generation via Playwright with Space Grotesk + DM Sans → Go terminal dashboard built with Bubble Tea to browse your pipeline → Batch mode that evaluates 10+ offers in parallel using Claude sub-agents → An interview Story Bank that accumulates STAR+Reflection stories across evaluations until you have 5-10 master answers for any behavioral question → Auto-fill for application forms The wildest part isn't the automation. It's the philosophy. Career-ops is explicitly NOT a spray-and-pray tool. It's a filter. The system literally refuses to recommend applying to anything scoring below 4.0/5. The whole point is to find the few offers worth your time out of hundreds, not to flood recruiters with garbage. It evaluates fit by reasoning about your CV vs the JD. Not keyword matching. And because it's all built on Claude Code skills, you can ask Claude to rewrite the system itself. "Change the archetypes to backend roles." "Add these 10 companies." "Translate the modes to English." It reads the same files it uses, so it knows exactly what to edit. 8.2k stars already. 100% Open Source. MIT licensed. (Link in the replies)

My Statement on Conditions for the Use of Firearms by Police Officers I have seen debates, reactions, and expressions regarding my recent statement on the use of firearms by police officers. My statement was made contextually and consciously with clarity of mind based on the express provisions of the law. No leader, scholar, jurist, journalist, blogger, or opinion shaper has challenged me on the law. At my age, position, and experience, I cannot utter statements that are not supported by the Constitution and the law. Throughout my career, I have never, in my conduct or utterances, found myself on the wrong side of the law. Indeed the Sixth Schedule of the National Police Service Act, in Paragraph B(1), provides the conditions for use of firearms by the Police as follows: 1.Protecting the lives of officers or civilians 2.Self-defense against imminent threats of death or serious injury protection through justified force 4.Preventing the escape of felony suspects from lawful custody I ask all those who are spreading misinformation, disinformation, and fake news to challenge me on the law. Those who are saying I issued an order to the police should show where the order is. A mere restatement of the law as it exists cannot amount to giving an order to the police. The Police are mandated by law to operate within the constitutional framework, the statutes, and the departmental standing orders. In any case, I have no constitutional powers to give such orders; instead, I have a duty to support the police and to formulate policy recommendations to aid the application of law in the enforcement of law and order. Our police officers who are attacked by robbers, rioters, and arsonists—who have torched police stations, stolen rifles, burnt suspects alive, and burnt property worth millions of shillings, including courts —cannot be left helpless when they have been given the authority by the Constitution and the law to defend themselves, the citizens, and their property. The law is in black and white.

‼️🇺🇲 Lockheed Martin has officially unveiled a game-changing addition to the global air defense arsenal, introducing the PAC-3 Adapted Capability Effector (ACE)—a highly advanced, ultra-affordable Patriot interceptor specifically designed to shatter the economics of modern aerial warfare. The revolutionary missile is engineered to complement existing Patriot frameworks while slashing production costs to less than half the price of the current $4 million PAC-3 MSE interceptor. Developed through a high-impact collaboration between U.S. and European defense industries, the PAC-3 ACE is a direct response to the grueling tactical lessons of the war in Ukraine, where the massive proliferation of cheap enemy drones and loitering munitions has demanded a far more cost-effective defensive solution. Lockheed Martin confirmed that development is moving at an aggressive pace, with full-scale production projected to hit the assembly lines within the next 36 months. This breakthrough represents a massive strategic pivot that destroys Russia's and Iran's strategy of trying to bankrupt Western air defense systems through mass-produced drone swarms. By delivering a lethal, high-tier interceptor at a fraction of the traditional cost, the alliance ensures that defenders can protect critical infrastructure without depleting multi-million-dollar missile stockpiles on low-cost targets. As production gears up, the PAC-3 ACE will provide Ukraine and its allies with an unsustainable cost curve for the enemy, cementing long-term dominance over contested skies and ensuring the democratic world can out-produce and out-last any adversarial threat.
