The EU is banning $XMR. Personally, that’s the biggest green flag a privacy coin could ever get. Let me explain. It’s official. Under the EU’s new rules, every regulated exchange has to delist privacy coins, including $XMR, by 2027. Loads already have. Something like 73 exchanges dropped Monero last year alone. Now you’d think that kills it, right? No exchanges, no access, price collapses. Except the exact opposite happened. Monero went up 120%. And here’s why. A ban like this only touches the middlemen. The regulated exchanges, the custodians, the companies that have to follow the rules. That’s all they can reach. What they cannot touch is the actual coin. And this is the bit people miss. It’s true of crypto in general. Your own wallet. Person to person. The decentralised swaps. All of that sits outside their reach. On-chain, crypto doesn’t know what country you’re in and doesn’t care what any government says. There’s no off switch. No company to lean on. No headquarters to raid. Nothing to actually shut down. That’s the whole point of this technology. Governments can lean on the exchanges, the middlemen, the regulated companies, because those have to follow the rules. But the chain itself just carries on. He's right. And I don't mean that sarcastically, or cruelly, or unkindly. Men, that is your purpose, perhaps above all others. It is the very definition of masculinity. It is to give, always, more than you receive. It is not fair. It is not just. But it is the truth. Importantly, just like Batman, you are under no requirement to save everyone. You should be VERY discerning in this regard... But think carefully about every man you think highly of. All of them, every single last one, in stark terms produces more than he consumes. That is what it is to be a man. "But what if I need help?" Then you should seek it. And you should understand that the cloudy voice in your head telling you it would be better to self destruct is an animalistic thing, slamming its hand down on the dopamine button, pumping your head full of fantasies of glorious self sacrifice because it feels good in a moment when you're suffering most. Get it? That's why you're fantasizing about it. Because it feels good, in your moments of most terrible suffering, to see yourself as a hero. The very embodiment of self sacrificing masculinity. It counteracts the pain. It's self medication, it keeps you going. 👤 I’m curious about how you see the world. your weverse posts show such a beautiful soul. and i want to live like that too. 🐶 In the end, I think the world I see is one where nothing really lasts. As time passes, even my own notes keep changing. When I die, the money I earned becomes meaningless. There might be people who remember my name, but that won’t last forever either. So what I believe is that what truly remains in this world..what stays in the universe, is the energy I give to it. Once that energy is released into the world, it’s just out there, like dust, existing somewhere in the universe forever. Because I think energy matters deeply. Your energy can be destructive, or it can be good. So just be good energy. Give good things to the world. Because that’s the only thing that lasts. And your life is part of that energy. That’s the only thing that is forever.

There are two distinct types of envy. The first is benign or upward-looking envy: you see someone with something you lack, and it inspires you to improve yourself. You think, “Why don’t I have that?” and it motivates you to level up and accomplish more. Then there’s malicious envy. Instead of lifting yourself up, you try to pull the other person down. You might try to take what they have, or even destroy it so that neither of you ends up with it. That can look like a zero-sum game—either I have it or you do. Or it can go further, into a negative-sum game—where you’d rather burn the whole thing down, leaving everyone worse off.
