Introducing the "Geo Method" - A way of filmmaking that tethers AI video to something physically real, and unmistakably human. Our method bridges traditional cinema and the incredibly impressive AI future. "Geo" represents earth, ground, geometry, location. How it works: we build scenes and sets as physical miniatures, hand-crafted,... lit, and shot practical on cinema cameras and lenses. That footage becomes our source plate: a live-action anchor with real light, real depth, and real texture that brings unmatched intention and direction to the generative AI process. Then, inside our proprietary software ("ST00DIO"), we bring the plate to life with additional elements. Our mixture of original 3D models and AI-generated assets are integrated into the scene, giving us greater control over performance and animation, directed by humans. AI handles relighting, asset-based set extensions, and atmosphere, but the world itself is born from photographic live action. The final piece is our "Shot Composer" tool for micro adjustments if needed, or entirely new scene framing. From a single still frame from the miniature capture source plate, it generates procedural geometry and a matching, fully directable virtual camera. From there, if we desire, we can further direct the shot with precise control: camera moves that were never physically possible on the practical tabletop, specific composition rebuilds, and explicit blocking for animated characters, then render the new result against the original live-action plate (video). What you get is a true hybrid production for AI animation: the grounded realism of practical miniatures with the creative freedom and speed of AI. The scene is real. The camera becomes editable. It's no secret that Michael Bay likes to shoot his films with as much practical effects as possible. In #Transformers (2007) there is a shot where Optimus Prime and Megatron crash through a building, this shot was done practically using a miniature at 1/4 scale by ILM. Doing this shot practically allowed them to get the randomness of the destruction without having to do expensive simulations. The CG robots were then added into the shot to merge the photographic plate with the CG elements. When doing live-action films, it is always a good idea to shoot physically as much as possible. This provides the VFX artists with real world reference to ground their work in and allows them to compliment the shot with CG elements. One of the reasons the original Transformers trilogy looks so good is because of the incredible blend of practical and digital effects. It is difficult to watch the film and spot what is real and what is CG. ILM VFX Supervisor Scott Farrar talks through how this scene was pulled off:

#PixVerseWorldModel is doing something pretty interesting with AI video. One of the things that stood out to me is the WASD experience. AI video usually follows a simple workflow: write a prompt, generate a clip, and watch the result. With PixVerse World Model, you can actually move around inside the generated world, control the camera, and use prompts to influence the environment, characters, and actions as you move through the scene. The interesting part is how movement and prompting work together. Instead of generating a completely new clip every time you want something to change, you can keep interacting with the world and see how it responds. TokenFlow: Consistent Diffusion Features for Consistent Video Editing paper page: The generative AI revolution has recently expanded to videos. Nevertheless, current state-of-the-art video models are still lagging behind image models in terms of visual quality and user control over the generated content. In this work, we present a framework that harnesses the power of a text-to-image diffusion model for the task of text-driven video editing. Specifically, given a source video and a target text-prompt, our method generates a high-quality video that adheres to the target text, while preserving the spatial layout and motion of the input video. Our method is based on a key observation that consistency in the edited video can be obtained by enforcing consistency in the diffusion feature space. We achieve this by explicitly propagating diffusion features based on inter-frame correspondences, readily available in the model. Thus, our framework does not require any training or fine-tuning, and can work in conjunction with any off-the-shelf text-to-image editing method. We demonstrate state-of-the-art editing results on a variety of real-world videos.

We wanted to see if we could take simple, physical materials (like cardboard and markers) and use AI to bring them to life. What was the result? A short film starring a bunch of TPUs getting ready for the big stage at Google I/O 2026! Working with director Laurie Rowan and Nexus Studios, we kept human artistry at the center of the film by blending puppetry and 3D animation with our models to do the following ↓ Nano Banana: Generated beautifully stylized first frames from the raw puppet footage and basic 3D animations. Google AI Studio: Built a custom tool inside the platform to test these frames at scale, ensuring pixel-perfect consistency Gemini Omni & experimental Google DeepMind Models: Merged the base animation and stylized frames to elevate the final piece to a cinematic level. Our AI pipelines were specifically designed to protect the crafty details that give these films their heart, like the tiny human imperfections of puppetry, or the nuance an animator can build into an expression.
