The Tesla Model 3/Y produced in the 2017-2024 timeframe all have just an air conditioning vent in the back. But it would be great to turn it into a smart screen that can watch movies, play games and other controls.

I made a prototype of an invention a few months ago on how you could eject the charging port if there’s an emergency. And then the receptacle would magnetically reconnect to the device. I sent it to. @elonmusk tesla headquarters, but haven’t heard back yet

Just stopped by a new 24-stall V4 Tesla Supercharger that's about to open in Goleta, California (next to Santa Barbara). The site also includes two pull-through charging stalls for EVs towing trailers. The signs have little Cyber trailers on them. Combined with the existing 12-stall V3 Supercharger right next to it, there will be a total of 36 charging stalls at this site, making it one of the largest in Central California.

The Department of Transportation led by Pete Buttigieg is being mocked for the massive failure. For comparison, a Tesla Supercharger costs less than $50,000 per charger meaning the company could build a 10-stall Supercharger station for less than $500,000 (Electrek). The EV charging station plan was written in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and allocated $7.5B for EV charging, with $5B dedicated to building a charging network along US highways. During a previous interview on CBS News, Buttigieg tried defending the disaster, saying it would take a while to hit their goal of 500,000 chargers.
