Introducing the new MagicPath visual editor. Drag, resize, duplicate, and make precise edits inside your fully functional app or website, not a static mock. No other AI apps editor can do this on a fully live product. You're designing with code without even knowing it.

It works with any coding agent, build from Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code, then edit your fully deployed app with the ease of a Figma file. Learn how to connect your agent here:

The resize and duplicate working directly on the live app is the part that gets me, most tools fake that with an overlay. does it hold up once real state and data are involved or is this still mockup level complexity?

This work with real data and states, it's magic

This is awesome, might give a try in a B2B scenario.

Reminds me of Microsoft frontpage , but with AI

This looks pretty legit. I'd suggest adding some polish to the marketing vid. Its unclear on mobile what's happening in a lot of segments. You could use more short phrases and zoomed in + out scrubs to explain concepts

Is this using an LLM to generate code behind it? Or is this doing deterministic editing?

Editing a live product instead of a static mock is exactly what design tools have been missing.

@MagicPathAI @paper or @pendev plus throw @figma in the mix it’s all so confusing?

@MagicPathAI @paper @pendev @figma

@MagicPathAI @paper @pendev @figma Ok, so what if I replaced pencil or paper with magicpath this diagram, that was kind of my point

Agents and humans building on the same canvas in real time is a genuinely different collaboration model. This kind of launch deserves a bold visual reveal too.

That sounds like the tool is exposing state that should be ephemeral to the model. How does it prevent the agent from overwriting changes when editing?

looks cool, but hands-on experience shows users still want clear guidance when diving into complex visuals.

Looks impressive. Does it support responsive layouts while editing live?

This seems nice - how does magicpath compare with tools like paper/figma?

Pietro Schirano's profile picture
Pietro Schirano2 months ago

We’re different in quite a few ways. For starters, anything you make in the canvas is actually interactive and sharable (live preview link) React components, not an approximation that needs to be turned into real code afterward. Because of that it’s much easier to jam on ideas and prototypes that you can then share with your team or client. And being real code also makes it easier to import something into MagicPath (like your GitHub repo), edit it, and install it back into your project. Out of the products you mention, we’re also the only one that can be used inside coding agent browsers like Cursor, Codex, etc.

very interesting - excited to try this, will see if I can use MagicPath in coming weeks. ⚡️

The demo always looks great on a greenfield app with no git history. The real test is what happens when a designer drags a component while an engineer has an open PR touching the same file, thats where every "edit the live product visually" tool has historically broken down.

Can you still import from figma and have it generate the code?

@skirano The song in this is absolutely incredible. Please tell me there's a full version of this somewhere to listen to!

Every visual editor promises to kill the handoff. This one edits live apps. But do I own the code or just rent the abstraction?
