There is a new massive 300 megawatt hyperscale AI data center proposed by a Netherlands-based company being put right next to a new medical and rehabilitation campus for injured, abused and recovering animals The data center would be only 1,100 feet away This new huge data center would impact the animals because of constant noise, vibrations, light pollution, heat and other disruptions. This would be especially bad for stressed, recovering, or sensitive animals The AI data center is claiming by the company to produce no increase in ambient or background noise levels at the property line or nearby areas They say “The facility will not exceed current background/ambient noise in the area” I wouldn’t believe this for a second, we’ve all seen how loud these hyperscale AI data centers are The location is in Alabama and the Greater Birmingham Humane Society is who’s speaking out because this data center is being proposed right next to their new proposed animal treatment facility This should not be allowed to happen

We have officially submitted our project to the Pump.fun Hackathon. Through this initiative, our goal is to test Grok in real world conditions and push it to its full operational limits. We want to explore the complete range of it's capabilities, observe how it performs under continuous and complex decision making scenarios, and clearly understand where it's strengths end and it's boundaries begin. This is not a theoretical experiment. We are applying Grok across hardware, software, and physical systems, using live data and real world constraints. Our long term vision is to scale this into something much bigger a fully automated, real world farm powered by robotics, intelligent systems, and AI driven optimization. By building in public and testing without shortcuts, we aim to learn fast, iterate openly, and discover how far this technology can truly go.

Robot policies must be both reliable and highly capable to be useful; the best way to achieve this level of performance is with reinforcement learning. However, for reinforcement learning you are usually stuck between two difficult options: reinforcement in the real world is often risky and expensive, while reinforcement learning in a traditional simulator takes a lot of engineering work and has a persistent sim-to-real gap. What if instead you could train your robot purely in a world model? RISE by Jiazhi Yang et al. uses a compositional world model to predict the future and evaluate progress. This allows for a self-improving pipeline, which learns a world model from real data and then learns how the robot should perform different tasks. This pipeline results in a data-driven way to improve policy performance from real data but without real-world reinforcement learning.
