True World Models must capture both photorealistic appearance and underlying physics, spatially-consistent across the environment. For static scenes, current models already deliver impressive results, unlocking downstream applications from gaming to 3D design. However, the true frontier lies in modeling dynamics, which will enable the training of AI agents whose learned behaviors can bridge the sim-to-real gap, thus unlocking countless real-world applications.

I’m honored to share that I’ve been commissioned by Tad Smith to create a new work consisting of both a digital piece and its physical twin. The commission came after Tad encountered my FACES collection and connected deeply with one of the works, which had already been acquired. Rather than letting the moment pass, he chose to commission a new piece born from that same spirit and emotional language. I’m deeply grateful for his belief in the work and for the thoughtful connection that made this possible. Special thanks to Rob De Los Santos for facilitating this in such a meaningful way. Andrew Zwicker: "At this point, I don't think the evidence is sufficient that a single sensor with software can handle situations that humans can." Apparently Tesla's nearly 12B real world miles on FSD and Unsupervised Robotaxi operations in four cities with cameras only isn't enough evidence?
